We know from the feedback we get that lots of new parents are increasingly interested in the art of Baby Signing.
Baby Signing is a wonderful way to communicate with your child and isn't only useful for children with communication difficulties like speech or hearing impairment.
The sign for 'please'

Before any child can speak, they can learn simple signs to tell you their tummy hurts, they're hungry, they need a new nappy! It can be used from the early months right up to when they begin to speak (between their first and second birthdays, usually) and you may well find that when their speaking does begin, they quickly have a wider vocabulary than other children because they have already learnt the value of 'speaking' and being understood.

Sue English has just started a business teaching babysigning online. She noticed that in many parts of the country, it's not easy to find or get to a baby signing class. Sue already teaches a six-week signing course in Essex, but with this, parents across the UK can register and immediately start to learn babysigning wherever they are, and at any time of the day. Ideal if you like to surf the net between night feeds!

To do the six-week, visually interactive course online, it costs £15, or you can order Sue's accompanying DVD of songs and amusements, for £10. She also sells some lovely signing baby books for £5.50 each. All via her website.
