For those days when you've got a question for ThinkBaby but you're not at your computer...!
Need To Know doesn't have the depth of the 'What To Expect...' books by Heidi Murkoff, but it does give you some interesting pointers as to what's happening to your body, and addresses those issues that might arise at this point in your pregnancy.
It's written in a very direct and helpful way so you get the facts without too much fluff - ideal if you're just looking for advice or reassurances rather than a philosophy on parenting.
Organisation
Although the main structure hangs around week-by-week pregnancy, these chapters are broken up by occasional stop-off featurettes on subjects like Hormones, Fetal Stimulation etc.
At the beginning of the book there is a summary of the kinds of concerns newly pregnant mums might have, a look at various healthcare options, and a piece on diet. At the back there is some useful first-base information on your first weeks with your child and an A to Z of medical concerns that you might have or that you need to know about.
