Following on from the success of the recently released BabyStyle Oyster comes the Oyster Black Pearl. This design-savvy buggy really looks the part, and is set to turn heads with its chic, sleek style. Its satin black chassis and all black seat, carrycot and accessories make for one very striking pushchair.
Like the original Oyster, the Black Pearl is ideal for urban parents. Its narrow chassis width makes it spot on for tackling doorways, but without loosing out on any seat space for your baby. It’s easy to fold (with the seat still attached to save any fussing) and get into the car boot. If you’ve got a small car, you can remove the wheels, too.
The Oyster Black Pearl be used as a parent (rear) facing or forward facing buggy, and can be converted into a travel system by adding the Oyster Black Pearl Car Seat, £79, and Oyster car seat adapters, £15. It’s compatible with two leading car seats from Maxi-Cosi and Britax as well. Adding the Oyster Black Pearl Carrycot, for £109, means you can use the buggy from birth.
So, how much with the Oyster Black Pearl set you back? It’s a touch more expensive than the original, but still offers a price that’s competitive with other on-trend brands. A special package that includes the satin black chassis, seat unit, fitted apron, footmuff, changing bag and raincover costs £399. Adding the Oyster Black Pearl Carrycot for your younger baby will take the overall total to £508.
