Mutsy have some enduring models in their fleet, like the Urban Rider and the light three-wheeler Spider, and the 4Rider is another simple yet versatile little mover.

The Mutsy 4Rider – an easy ride
Pneumatic tyres give this model a smooth ride with a comfortable light bounce for your baby, and the single-spoke wheels (new for 2009) make this model a stylish choice. It also has a lightweight frame making it a good choice for mums who want a travel system without having to lug anything too heavy around with them. On top of that, the lockable, swivel front wheels make it easy to manoeuvre.

The Mutsy 4Rider

A flexible option
There is a single movement click-in locking mechanism to make it easy to switch what you are using the 4Rider for.
Use the Musty 4Rider as a travel system by easily adding the Traveller car seat (£159 including the adaptor) or the Safe To Go car seat (£119), or use it as a pram with the comfy, full-sized carrycot (£149).
The Traveller car seat has an adjustable backrest for added comfort for a new baby, and there are other great little details which make this an appealing buy: the stroller seat (£119) can be switched from forward to rear facing; the handle has five height positions so it can suit the heights of different adults pushing it; and it is self-locking and free standing when folded.

The details
The chassis folded (with wheels) has measurements of: L100 x H34 x W63cm (the wheels can be removed to make it even smaller).
The handle height range is: 93 to 114cm.
The prices for basics are: chassis £235, seat £119, carrycot £149, Traveller Car Seat inc adaptor £159, Safe to Go Car Seat £119, Fun Seat (playful 'driver' seat for toddlers) £69.
The prices for accessories are: Foot muff £40, sun canopy £29, Step Up Board £45, dinner tray £13.
It is available in the following colours: Cargo Anthracite, Cargo Black, College Green, Cargo Cream, Ocean and College Red.

Discuss this story

i have this travel system and it is really great. It is so light and yet durable.  However!!!!!   if you have a small car e.g Fiesta the traveller car seat is not very user friendly as it is a nightmare to get the seatbelt etc around even without a baby in it. We had to buy another car seat which was user friendly. We  decided to use the Traveller as a carry cot as it was roughly the same price and  saved three weeks waiting for a carry cot to arrive.  All in all we are very pleased with the Mutsy the stroller is good too.  But please be aware about the car seat as this is the last thing you need when you have a newborn and you  are wrestling with the car seat.
