New Cosatto travel system due out next month
The Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi plus car seat promises to tackle a power walk round the park as easily as a shopping trip
Cosatto's newcomer, the me-MO, offers parents the choice of a macthing car seat to create a travel system, or just to use the package as a pram and forward and rear facing buggy.
Next month, Cosatto is set to add a new travel system compatible buggy to its range. Called the Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi, it packs one stylish punch and is the brand’s new flagship model.
The me-MO gets its “3-in-1 Combi” tag from the fact it can be used in three distinct ways. It comes with a lie-flat carrycot, so can be used in a pram-like set-up – this is Pram Mode. It also features a reversible buggy seat, so you have a rear facing buggy or a forward facing buggy – these are both called Pushchair Mode. Finally, if you buy the optional matching car seat for an extra £130, you can use the me-MO in Travel System Mode.
Now to the tech-y stuff… the me-MO boasts air-filled rear tyres, which Cosatto claims can do a spin across the park equally as well as a trip round the supermarket. There are lockable swivel front wheels, and Cosatto also says the wheels are quick release. It has a 9kg aluminium chassis, height-adjustable handles (from 94cm to 107cm) and the reversible seat unit has a 3-position recline. There’s also an adjustable, removable bumper bar.
As a buggy, the me-Mo weighs 12.6kg and is suitable from 3 months to 3 years, but the include carrycot makes it suitable from birth. This has removable, washable covers, and when teamed with the chassis to create the Pram Mode, you’ll have a 13.6kg package.
The optional car seat is a 4.2kg Group 0+ option, suitable from birth to 13kg. It has side impact protection, and comes with a removable canopy, head hugger, and tummy and chest pads. There’s also the option to use the popular Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix car seat with the me-MO, if you buy Cosatto’s Cabrio Car Seat Adaptors.
When it comes to the price tag, £535 will see you get the buggy chassis, reversible buggy seat, carrycot, shopping basket, tyre pump, changing bag, cosytoes, chest pads and raincover. If you want to use it as a travel system, with Cosatto’s own-brand car seat, you can expect to pay £665.
Our sister site, MadeForMums, plans to put the me-MO through its paces as soon as it hits shelves, so stay tuned for performance updates!
