BabyStyle Vision Impact with buggy seat in parent facing mode
Just one of the many looks the BabyStyle Vision offers, this is the more classic looking Vision Impact chassis with the buggy seat in parent facing mode.

BabyStyle has a new travel system compatible buggy on the way, called the Vision. Set to hit the UK in February, the thing we’ve noticed most about the BabyStyle Vision is how many choices it offers parents.

First off, you can choose your chassis (the buggy’s frame). The Vision Impact chassis is for those that like the heritage look – it’s a classic “X” shaped frame. However, it features a folding system that allows it to be collapsed down to a more compact size than the old traditional prams. Or you can opt for the Vision Movie chassis, which boasts a compact 3D folding mechanism and swivel front wheels.

The BabyStyle Vision is sold as a package of the chassis, buggy seat unit and carrycot. This is where your next lot of choices comes in. Attach the carrycot, and you have a pram style arrangement for your baby. Use the Vision as a buggy, and it can either rear facing (parent facing) or forward facing, due to its reversible seat. You also have the choice of purchasing the matching Vision car seat for £99 to create a travel system. Alternately, you could team the Vision with the Maxi-Cosi Pebble or Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix car seats (the car seat adaptors cost £19.50).

The carrycot can be used as a lie-flat option, but also has a sit-up backrest, as well as ventilation, rocking rails, washable liner and safety mattress. The buggy seat, with its multi-position recline, also includes a lie-flat position.

Other nifty features worth mentioning are the adjustable leg rest, retractable sun peak, removable hood and bumper bar, 5-point harness and the fact the chassis will lock when folded. The Vision package price also included the buggy seat hood and apron, foot muff, changing bag, parasol and docking stand. This docking stand can take either the carrycot or seat unit. It can also take the optional Vision car seat.

The Vision will come in Fuchsia, Lime Twist, Vanilla, Racing Red and Black Denim. Price wise, the Vision Impact package (that’s the classic chassis look) is £775. The Vision Movie package is £629.
