The latest buggy, car seat and carrycot combo from My Child looks the part, and can be tailored to suit your budget.
The three modes offered by the new My Child Versa - pram mode (with carrycot), travel system mode (with car seat), and buggy mode.
New from My Child, a brand available in the UK through Kooltrade, is the Versa Travel System. Available in Ember (red) and Monodot (black with dot interior), it certain looks the part. But it has a lot more to offer than style.
One of the top features for many will be that the My Child Versa lets you decide what you need, or what you can afford. The buggy, carrycot and car seat are all sold separately, so you needn’t buy all three parts if you don’t want to. Also, the buggy has a seat that fully reclines, so you could use it from birth without the carrycot. The seat is reversible too, so you can move from parent facing to forward facing as your baby grows.
Other features we’re excited to try out include the one-hand, one-foot folding system, and the twin front swivel wheels and larger rear wheels. It’s these wheels, combined with the lightweight aluminium chassis, that are said to make it easy to manoeurve and push.
You can also expect find a 5-point harness, removable bumper bar, removable and washable covers, and a raincover (which is included in the price of the buggy).
On the topic of cost, the Versa buggy will set you back £229.99, and the matching Group 0+ car seat is £79.99. The carrycot is £99.99. Other extras include the footmuff, £24.99 and the changing bag, £24.99, for those mums and dads who like a co-ordinated look.
