Alyson has timed her pregnancy perfectly with her on screen alter ego
How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan has announced her pregnancy. The actress, 37, joked that unlike rumours earlier this year, this baby bump is for real!
“Yes, I am pregnant!” Alyson told her fans on the social networking site. Referring to photos taken of her with a supposed baby bump in September this year, she added, “This time it is NOT a food baby. We are beyond happy!'
Alyson has made her co-workers at HIMYM happy by getting pregnant at exactly the same time as her character in the show, Lily.
“Everyone at How I Met Your Mother is thrilled for Aly! And we'd especially like to thank her for timing this perfectly to Lily's pregnancy on the show!” said co-creator Craig Thomas.
Alyson has 2-year-old daughter Satyana with husband Alexis Denisof. The couple haven’t revealed if they’re expecting a boy or girl.
