Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden is to redo scenes that revealed her baby bump to spare her family more anguish after her tragic baby loss
Amanda will start re-shooting scenes next month
Amanda Holden has asked her bosses at Britain’s Got Talent to re-shoot some of the series where her baby bump is clearly visible, to spare her and her family the heartache of seeing the footage. The 40-year-old judge tragically lost her baby at seven months pregnant last month and her pregnancy is clearly visible in some of the scenes.
Bosses are planning to re-shoot scenes where Amanda arrives at venues to greet fans and splice the new footage with the old to remove the upsetting images.
“What Amanda has been through is horrendous, and to have to watch herself on TV looking pregnant would be very difficult to cope with,” said a show source, according to the Daily Mail. “The production team thought the best way was to re-shoot some scenes and then slide them into the original footage.”
Amanda told the Mail that she’s been relying on friends and family to get through this difficult time. “To be honest, just being at home with family and friends is the best tonic, the best therapy. I’m doing lots of that,” she said.
Her scenes will be re-shot in April.
