Big congrats to Celine Dion and husband Rene Angelil, who announced the arrival of their twins on Saturday. Despite being born prematurely, the baby boys are both doing well, weighing in at 5lb 10oz and 5lb 4oz. As yet unnamed, the pair will be kept in incubators for a few days.
We recently reported that Celine had not booked into hospital for a planned caesarean birth, but the 42-year-old singer was admitted to hospital to prevent an early birth last week and went on to deliver her twins by caesarean in the end.
Celine conceived her babies with the help of IVF and has discussed her fertility troubles in the past. The twins will be welcomed home by their 9-year-old brother, René-Charles.
