Jessica plans to wear heels at the birth of her baby
When preparing for the birth of a baby, most mums-to-be have their hands full deciding whether they want a home or hospital birth, and what sort of pain relief they will opt for. Fashion is usually the last thing on their mind. But not for Jessica Simpson.
The 31 year-old singer and reality star, who has kept tight lipped about her due date but is rumored to be six months pregnant, quipped to Us Weekly.
"I'm probably going to deliver my baby in these [four-inch Yves Saint Laurent heels]."
"I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'You're gonna need to get out of those heels!' I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!"
Throughout her pregnancy Jessica has regularly been pictured in towering heels. She is known for her love of fashion and has her own successful fashion label - the Jessica Simpson Collection.
Jessica, who had this to say about her baby’s sex, is relishing her pregnant figure. She confessed that she has “never felt so connected with my body in my life,” and she is enjoying experimenting with maternity fashion
"I like wearing things more fitted," Jessica said. "You want to show off your bump! It's just so fun. You don't want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town."
