Rumour has it that the supermodel is taking folic acid in a bid to conceive her second child
Is Kate Moss trying to conceive baby no.2?
Broody supermodel Kate Moss is rumoured to have given up the booze and has another habit of late – she’s popping folic acid pills in a bid to fall pregnant.
Sources told The Sun that the 36-year-old mum-of-one is taking folic acid vitamins to help her conceive a baby with her partner Jamie Hince. “Kate is trying supplements every day. Jamie suggested she take folic acid because of its benefits,” the newspaper reports the source as saying.
The model, who is already mum to 8-year-old Lila Grace from her former relationship with Jefferson Hack, is apparently keen on becoming a mum for the second time with Jamie, 42. “While there’s been lot’s of speculation about Jamie and Kate getting married, what they really want is to extend their family,” the source has said.
Folic acid, or vitamin B9 as it’s also known, is recommended to women trying to conceive to help foetal development. If you’re trying to conceive, find out the health benefits of folic acid. If you don’t fancy popping the pill, check out what foods contain the most folic acid.
