Jack Osbourne’s fiancé Lisa Stelly has taken to Twitter to share adorable snaps of baby Pearl, as Jack reveals he’s been diagnosed as suffering from multiple sclerosis.
The new dad, son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, told Hello! magazine how he discovered he had MS after losing 60 per cent of the vision in his right eye, just two weeks after baby Pearl was born.
“The timing was so bad”, Jack said. “I'd just had a baby, work was going great… I kept thinking: ‘Why now?’”
“Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realised, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point, if anything it's only going to make it worse… 'adapt and overcome' is my new motto", he said.
Jack’s fiancé Lisa, who gave birth to their first child in April, shares Jack's positive outlook.
"Jack will have to change his life for the better – get healthier, not get stressed – so I feel like this could almost be a blessing in disguise,” Lisa says.
Jack took to Twitter to thank well wishers. “Thank you all so much for the kind and inspirational words. It means a lot. #adaptandovercome,” Jack wrote.
