James Corden is excited about being a dad
Gavin and Stacey funnyman James Corden has been talking about what it’s like to be a dad-to-be.
James’ fiancée, Julia Carey, is due this Spring, and James has admitted they’ve had the talk about baby names, but his suggestions are being dismissed!
“I had a name which got vetoed, but I quite liked it and you’ll understand why it got vetoed when you hear it,” the dad-to-be told Alan Carr on his chat show, Chatty Man.
“If it was a boy I wanted to call him Mister. I’m not joking. So when he’s older he’ll be called Mr Mister Corden - so good they named him twice!”
Joke baby names aside, it seems impending fatherhood is starting to seem very real for James, who admits he’s a little scared at the prospect of being a new dad.
“It’s a scary time. I feel quite apprehensive about it. It’s great though,” gushed James.
“ We went for a scan the other day and the doctor said apparently the baby has already got a really big head and a big waist. As he said this he looked right at me!”
