Kourtney welcomed her second baby at the weekend
Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her second child, a girl, over the weekend and although only a few days old baby Penelope Scotland is already causing a stir.
The 33-year-old reality star’s family took to Twitter to spread the news, after the Kourtney confirmed she had given birth, andresulted in “Penelope Scotland Disick” and “Kourtney Kardashian” trending worldwide.
Kourtney said she had tricky pregnancy, and revealed she was considering opting for a water birth along with her other birth plans.
Penelope, who was reportedly born naturally weighing 7lb 14oz, is the second child for Kourtney and long-term boyfriend Scott Disick and joins their 2-year-old son Mason.
“Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably,” Kourtney told E! News.
“Welcome to the world, Penelope Scotland Disick!!!” Kim tweeted.
"Beyond blessed,” Khloe tweeted. “Such an amazing day”.
“I’m so happy that @KourtneyKardash and @Scottdisick have had their baby x. Penelope Scotland Disick x” Kylie tweeted.
"Great day! #babytime#PenelopeScotland" Kendall wrote.
So, it appears, at only a few days old baby Penelope is already taking on famous nippers Harper Seven (daughter of Victoria and David Beckham) and Blue Ivy (Jay-Z and Beyonce’s famous offspring) in the fame stakes.
Here at TB HQ we’re loving the name Penelope, but we’re not so convinced about the middle name Scotland, which is allegedly down to Kourtney’s mum Kris’s Scottish heritage.
