Myleene Klass has revealed how her first aid training saved her 1-year-old daughter’s life, when she began choking.

It’s every mum’s nightmare, but fortunately Myleene used the skills she learnt in a first aid course to save the little one’s life.

Singer and TV presenter Myleene tweeted about the scare and commented that after the trauma of saving Hero from choking, she needed medical help herself.

“OMG. Did a BEYOND basic first aid course 5yrs ago and just had to use it. Feel like I need a medic myself. *faints*,” the mum-of two wrote, reminding us how vital it is to know how to give first aid to a baby or young child.

Myleene also tweeted her thanks to the leader of her first aid course, “@BabeeSafe: I taught you that course! Hope all ok let" Thank you so much. Hero was choking. Horrible, but did what you said. X”

Myleene, 33, recently turned down a lucrative TV job in order to spend more time with her family – husband Quinn and daughters 4-year-old Harper and baby Hero, who celebrates her first birthday this month.

And judging by this it’s a good job this multi-talented mum’s able to be around so much!
