Stacey shared this adorable photo of her two boys enjoying the heatwave
Stacey Solomon has taken to Twitter to share a cute picture of baby son Leighton and revealed that the birth was easy in an exclusive interview this week with The Sun.
Mum-of-two Stacey tweeted a gorgeous photo of baby Leighton and his four-year-old brother Zach enjoying the warm weather.
The adorable pic was accompanied by the caption: "Enjoying the sun :)"
The 22-year-old shared how different her second labour was compared to the birth of her first son Zach, who's now four years old.
“Labour was surprisingly wonderful,” Stacey told The Sun.
“I had a really hard time with Zach, so compared to that, this was a dream. It was two-and-a-half hours. I got to Queen’s hospital in Romford at 10am on May 5,” she explained.
“Leighton was born at 12.30pm, weighing 7lb 7oz and perfect,” she added.
Stacey, who admitted she was finding being pregnant very tiring the second time, revealed that she was able to go just hours after Leighton was born.
“I was back home and in my own bed that evening. It was as if I’d just gone to the shops and come back with a baby,” said Stacey.
Stacey said that, after seeing how easy Leighton’s birth was, her fiancé Aaron joked about having more children. “Aaron said, ‘If it’s that easy, we’ll have loads.’ I have to remember it’s not always like that. With Zach, it was 37 hours,” said Stacey.
Aaron also shared how he felt at the birth. “It was emotional at the birth. The moment he came out, I felt like time had stopped,” he said. “Then I heard him cry and it was such a relief. All of a sudden, it gets you. When I held him, I felt so overwhelmed.”
The I’m a Celebrity winner, who gave birth to her second son three weeks ago, heartwarmingly shared how baby Leighton is settling into the family.
“Leighton is such a good baby. He’s very alert but he’s also calm and happy to sit there and watch what’s going on,” Stacey said.
Stacey revealed how Aaron’s taken to looking after Leighton.
“He’s been brilliant with Leighton,” she said. “He helps with all the night feeds, he does the nappies. He loves it. He chose the name too.”
Stacey, who’s due to return to the studio to work on her debut album, said that she’s been enjoying her time off but that she’s ready to go back to work.
“I’ve had a really lovely few weeks off but I’m looking forward to going back to work,” Stacey said.
“I like my independence and to fell I’m providing for my children. As much as it would be nice to sit at home and cuddle them all day, I want to know when my boys want to go to university, I will be able to pay for that,” Stacey said.
Aww…here at TB we love Stacey and her brood!
