Spice Girl reveals how getting back into shape after the birth of baby Harper was hard work
Victoria has cut an unbelievably svelt figure on the red carpet, but it's been a hard slog
Victoria Beckham has revealed how snapping back into shape so quickly after giving birth to baby Harper in July was a serious slog.
In a bid to lose her pregnancy weight, Victoria swapped her gargantuan heels for a pair of trainers and began running six times a week.
With no gym at home, Victoria no doubt took advantage of the gorgeous LA surroundings where she lives by running out in the open.
“I worked out a lot. I ran a lot. I did it six days a weeks,” she says. “I become quite obsessive when I get into something.”
As well as taking up running, the mum-of-four was put through her paces by celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, who devised a killer exercise plan for the ex-Spice Girl.
Getting back into shape was no doubt made easier as Victoria was careful not to gain too much weight by falling into the “eating for two” trap. She even revealed how to avoid stretch marks.
Though it sounds like fashion designer Victoria was keen to get started straight away, she is thought to have had to wait at least six weeks after Harper’s birth via caesarean. Also, an injury endured in August left Victoria unable to even lift her new baby let alone exercise.
With Victoria working relentlessly on her fashion line, keeping up her fitness regime and being a mum to Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, Cruz, 7, and Harper, 8 months, it’s no wonder she’s worn out.
So what do you think – is it important to lose your baby weight straight away or are celebs just piling on the pressure?
