Victoria's hero product
Pregnant Victoria Beckham has been revealing the secrets of staying in shape through four pregnancies. The fashion designer and sometime model has been gushing about her favourite stretch mark preventing cream, Elemis Japanese Camellia Oil Blend.
“Pregnancy tip!!!!” she announced on Twitter. “I have used this through every pregnancy, it's amazing!! X VB.” Well, it is if you can afford that £30+ price tag! (If your purse strings don’t quite stretch to that for a bottle of cream, check out ThinkBaby’s favourite stretch marks preventions, starting at £6.99.)
The majority of mums-to-be experience stretch marks as their body changes and we know that they knock the confidence of more than half of those who get them. Victoria is just one of many celebs who’ve recommended products they used to avoid the pesky pregnancy side effect.
X-Factor’s Dannii Minogue went for one of our favourite all-natural stretch mark creams, Trilogy’s Everything Balm, which contains skin-loving rosehip.
Or perhaps, like Kerry Katona, we should just accept our lot. “So many women have stretch marks,” Kerry said. “They are my babies’ signatures.”
