Sue Start Maternity Grant

Hi there,

I found a post on a different website about the sure start maternity grant and thought it was a good idea so im posting it here.

A petition to the prime minister stating I think the sure start maternity grant should be avaliable too all mother regardless of earning because have a baby is expensive and although someone works there not always entiltled to benefits and some people struggle after they've paid the bills and childcare each month. I don't think it will harm anyone making this grant avaliable to all mothers but will benefit vhildren. If you agree wuth this can you please click on the link and sign the petition.

Hi there, were due our 2nd baby on the 6th March, our 1st little girl is 18 months, ... I totally agree with you and will definately sign the petition, with my other friends who I have emailed this too, why should us working mums be discriminated against.... It should be for all, we already get penalised on the working tax credits and the government say they are helping Mums get back to work... don't think so....
