I have recently found out that I am pregnant with my first child.
My question is about work, I am currently temping, I was with this same agency before but then went to a fixed term contract with a firm who put me on their payroll.
I've since gone back to my agency but am now concerned that once they find out I am pregnant, they won't put me in roles they would have considered me for before and then I won't be entitled to any maternity. (it took quite a few weeks for them to find me my current temp post).
I don't know what to do either should there be any offer of any interviews for permanent jobs, should I go for them (I'm 6 weeks pregnant) or not? Do I need the extra nerves of an interview?
Has anyone else been temping while pregnant? Any advice would be great.
