Hi all,

My wife is due to have our baby boy at the end of April, but was told by the midwife today that he has already engaged, weighs 6lbs and could be born in as soon as three weeks! How scary is that! Should buy some clothes...

Hello Daddy, congratulations.

Babies often engage early, but it doesn't always mean birth is imminent. Sometimes the little buggers even disengage!! Lol. But yes, get stocked up on those baby clothes, although don't worry too much about newborn and 0-3 cuz everyone buys those as gifts!

If you buy clothes don't buy for a new born.... Your friends always buy some as gifts and new borns grow so quick. You'll find that the baby will only wear them once and then out grow them. Good luck

Our little one is engaged at the moment, 4 weeks early - if anything I think we're over prepared (we have all different clothes in all different sizes) - try not to be nervous, we've got to be strong for our partners.
