hi everyone

 well dont get online much but hows everyone doing? tali is absolutly gorgeous and more so each day, she does have a little rash today, looks like baby exma so hoping it will clear up with the cream but doctor was useless.

 as for me getting really bad coccyx pain and hopefully going to see a specialist if i get to see my doctor tomorrow. waited for 4 hours today and they wouldnt see me as i was number 16 and they only see 15 patients in the morning so had to choose between me and tali seeing doctor so thought it better to clear up babies rash. I am in so much pain though it really hurts to sit down and that means i cant without pain either.

 well its my birthday today but not been a great day, ah well.

hi all, glad to hear that everyone is enjoying their babies. hubbie and i both enjoying parenthood. my washing machine is taking a battering as emma has developed habit of being a bit sick over us now and again. only woke up once last night, will get back to you all later have to go and get some houseduties done while shes asleep. suzxxxxxxxx

Just had my midwife visit to see Callum, she a little concerned, as he lost more than 10% of birth weight, but she cant be that concerned as she not coming back for 2 days.

Does anybody know how long it takes for the scar re c-section to heal, just so frightened that it wont heal.

Just read that we now have the aug 07 mummies forum which is cool - i'm finding it very very hard at the moment - Emily is 10 days old today and i am very tired she just seems to feed all the time - it is getting easier but the nipples are sooo sore i'd defo recommend lansinoh to everyone wish i'd used it before i was a mummy tho to soften the nipples.

Emily is a good girl tho she sleeps for 4 hours at a time and arond 6 hours at night so i'm only up once (at the moment, touch wood and all that) she has just started having wake times in the day.

I do have a question when do your periods start again and when should you start taking contraception??? not that i'm having sex yet but just would like to know and when do your stitches heal???

Anyway flying visit but glad everyone is ok and enjoying being new mummies as much as i am.

hey everyone,

 Tali has exzema, it came back today with a vengeance thought we had sorted it out. guess not, lol. doctors wouldnt give me an appointment and said go to the hospital, hah yeah right they will not be happy if i turned up with a baby with a rash thats not of concern to them, really pissed off, she has been so grumpy today. she had a bit of a temp and not stopped crying.

my periods returned last week so she was about 4 weeks at the start of my period, actually quite a light one and lasted about 5 days. mw told me can start back on the pill straight away but has i am not in a relationship dont think there is much point. I do have a hot date tomorrow night though, woo, will keep you updated, do wonder if its unfair to tali if i meet someone so soon, however he wont be meeting her for a while (if we get on) anyway.

well gonna get my beauty sleep soon as i am knackered, had interview today as ex is a complete bastard and will not pay anything so having to go back to work part time, really upset about it cos i want to spend my time with my baby but cant afford to.

how are we all doing???  I can't believe this whole new mummy stuff is soooo hard i really wasn't expecting it to be this hard i'm sure it will get easier but at the moment by the time i have fed Emily its about 1pm and half the day has gone god help me if i get an appointment at 9am don't think i would make it.

Anyway kelly that is sooo horrid of the doctors surely if you make an appointment the doctor can not refuse to see a patient doesn't matter how old they are????

i am finding breast feeding really really difficult not actually doing it just being the only person who can give our baby food and i feel like the only person at the moment who can look after Emily - don't get me wrong my oh is fantastic and really enjoying being a daddy but its not like he needs to get up in the night so i don't bother to let him get up saying that Emily is 11 days old and i have been on the sofa for 9 of them she won't settle in her room only in her pram so looks like another night for me down here and there is a huge spider running around which is scary think i'm going to eat it in the night or something silly like that.

Anyway hopefully i will get on soon to chat again hope everyone is ok and has a good day tomorrow

Bit quiet on here...altho im not surprised. Babies sleep so much yet there seems to be so little time to do anything!!! Anyway, Ellena is doing well, she weighs exactly her birth weight which ive found out was actually 0.5ozs more than i was originally told (not that it makes much difference really), so she weighs 8lb 10.5ozs. She has been a little unwell with diarrhea so i took her to the doctors to get checked out - bit of a worry really as my nan has C.Diff, and altho shes never seen Ellena i was around her while pregnant and all my family have been around my nan and Ellena. Anyway, after practically a week of diarrhea she seems to be back to normal. Still waiting for the stool sample results but my doctors is useless! Anyway, thats all for now, will try to post again soon.

Luca is 5 wks and 4days and weighs 10lb7oz wow!! he has been pretty upset and making lots of noises we found out he is lactose intolorant and we are getting prescription formula, I was getting very upset now it seems to help oh the joys of parenthood and the worry it brings. Luca is so cute and getting so big he smiles now. my bf has been wonderful and I am recovering now still can do excersise until the ok from the doc. Start baby massage class this week coming

I cannot believe that thalia is 6 weeks tomorrow, time has gone so quickly. she gets cuter everyday though.

went on hot date last night, with the best guy ever lol. he drove 100 miles to see me i cannot beleive it, we kissed for hours, i felt like i was about 15 again, really the 2nd best day of the year so far, thalia being born was the best. he then drove 100 miles home at 3am, cant wait to see him again. for those on facebook he is called ross on my profile have a look, he is even hotter than his pics. i cant believe he was out with me. not sure what happens next has not really up to date on dating etiquette as its been a long time. he has been texting me today though so think its a good sign.

ex- what a bastard (sorry for the swearing) he told me he was going to beat me up today and threatened to get a girl to sort me out too. i really do hate him with a passion. he also told me i was ugly, that i would never get another guy and that i had nothing to offer. nice eh? thing is i am starting to think he is right. he has never provided anything at all for tali and thinks he has rights. I am trying not to let him get to me as i dont want to get postnatal depression, wondering if this is what he is trying to do.

Like all of you dont know where the day goes and how I dont have time to do stuff.

Kel am really pleased you've been on a date, your ex is such a dick, he doesnt deserve to be a father. Keep strong huni!!

Megan is so wonderful, she was weighed today (6wks 4 days old) and is now 9lb 2oz (was 6lb 1oz at birth).

Also went to the Dr's for our 6 week check today and Megan is doing everything she should be and is doing so well, am so pleased. Apart from a little bit of cradle cap and still got thrush on her tongue, poor little thing!

I'm not doing too bad but am still not 100%, but I did score better than health visitor thought I would with the post natal depression check. I didnt realise she was as concerned about me. I have struggled a little but am feeling tonnes better.

Hubby is working nights this week Monday-Sunday, so gonna be a tired week for me. I thought I'd be alot more nervous than I am, fingers crossed it wont be too bad.

We should do a list of birth dates like on the other forum, I will start it off, if you think we should, please add your own details.

Gonna go chill out infront of the TV now for a few hours until last feed time.

glad you are doing well, I am so tired baby doesnt sleep half as much as she used to so much harder work than it was at the beginning. Have no idea what I am going to do when I go back to work as i feel so exhausted.

Hating this dating game, my life is so diff to what i ever thought it would be and to now be a single mother, ah well, hoping to see mr hot this week, not sure how to play things cool when i want to speak to him all the time, lol.

I too am chilling out in front of tv, switched phone on silent so not to wake baby and keeping my fingers from texting.

Usually Tali is asleep by now but tonight she is lay in her moses basket looking at me. lol. thought i had given her a last feed but think she is winding up again for another. she is smiling loads now, especially in the morning she has lots of smiles for her mummy. Going to try and make it to the baby clinic this week to get her weighed.
