Ordered my zia yesterday... received it this morning! I finally went for the teal to please my eldest son and it looks great! It's raining here but I don't care I have to take it for a spin! I tried my 8 weeks old baby in it and he looks confortable but I need a footmuff! It's a fabulous 2nd buggy!

Thanks for all the advises!

Brilliant glad to hear it Annabelle, now we can advise all the other mums that it's definately ok for a little one, we'll keep each other in touch as soon as the matching footmuffs are out, the web site will be in-undated!!! Welcome to the Zia club!

ben is to big for a footmuff  but will keep up to date with all you mums that are lucky enough to be able to use one

Sometimes just worth getting one, then un zip the top part and just use the bottom bit to line the pushchair to keep it clean!

good thimking nikki ! could use that as my excuse to buy one

I use the top bit to wrap round her when she's cold.  Anyway, I have a Mazda 5 and yesterday had to pick up my 2 sons friends and ended up using all seats which meant the boot space is virtually non exsistant and the zia fitted!!!! Now my husbands impressed!  Summer is 1 tomorrow and her brothers (5 1/2 and 7) are throwing her a tea party please wish me luck. I have a list of things I have to get and although warned their mates its a baby party they are all so excited, scared won't have home left by end of it!

Wait till they get to 18!!!!!

Bradley is 2 next week and on the 14th he's being christened and we have 50 people and kids coming back to the house and on top of all that I'm married to a South African and they're playing rugby that night too! Have had to have a 36" flat screen put in, god what have I done

feeling better now cheers, although sitting here feeding Summer after she's pulled all cd's out from under computer that took me an hou to do last night!! Not started any shopping for food cards ec etc and house a complete tip, but at least I have cool pushchair!!!!!!!!!!!

What can I say!  You may as well have a nice cuppa to go with it

Put it this way, your house is gonna be trashed anyway after the tea party so dont bother tidying now!

Happy birthday to Summer then!(I love that name!) Make the most of these birthday parties, my eldest is 11 and now hates the fuss he just wants a normal day with his mate! That's one thing I look forward to with my new one, the look of joy on his little face when we bring the cake! Good luck with the party

Zia is so great and confortable it is slowly becoming my main buggy and the Jane the spare! It was meant to be the contrary! To make out for not having a footmuff I just put him in his winter overall!

happy birthday for tomorrow summer and happy birthday for next week bradley not had chance to gp out with my zia much, really missing my kiddies now i am back at work and feel really fed up today !

doesnt help when i come home and my mother in law tells me what an angel he has been ( he is a nightmare for me ) and that she has enrolled him in a playgroup so that she can meet other grandma's !!!!

sudddenly i feel redundant in my kids lives !!!!

Oh linda dont get upset i know it must be really hard but you are the kids mummy and you will always be the most important person in your kids lives no matter how many treats anyone else gives them. xx.

You'll just have to make the most of the days off with them like play days and days out, ignore the house work and shopping and just spend time with them,

Happy birthday summer. x

Happy birthday bradley. x

Thanks for the birthday messages girls

Hey Linda look on the bright side, you get to be YOU again and not just the mummy!  Sometimes it's nice to have a break away you tend to appreciate them so much better, rather than them doing your head in and feeling like you're on at them all the time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUMMER X X X

cheers nikki and sam,

feel a bit brighter today, guess all mums have days when they feel bad about something so i know i am not on my own

guess i still need time to adjust and so do my kiddies.... seem to have done things so quickly. we moved from manchester to carnforth (without much logic going into it i guess) so all my family and friends are in manchester and then i started work within 2 weeks of moving!! hubby still commutes every day to manchester so the kids only get quality time with him at the weekends.

At least it is nearly the weekend....and even more exciting, its nearly christmas ! (well sort of...did some online shopping for ben last night. early learning centre is fab but very adictive !!)

Hi everyone, I've not been on for a couple of days and i've had loads to read and catch up on.

For those of you loooking for a footmuff try snugglebuggy.co.uk My son if very tall and i find it difficult to find things he can fit into but there footmuffs are slightly longer and made from thick material!, infact so warm i nearly boiled my baby the other day! Anyway i think they're fab I've got one for my big buggy, one for the carseat and Don't forget one for my ZIA!

Linda we all know how it feels going back to work. It brought a tear to my eye just reading your thread! I ended up giving up my full time job, i now work 2 and half days a week. it's still difficult but needs must! I found it helps to know what Ben will be doing throughout the day so when i think of him i'll think 'well its 2o'clock now he'll be having a sleep' and i'm always ringing&textin  my mum to see how he is especially if he's been a little off colour!

Oh i'm looking for an All-in-one winter coat does anyone know where i can get one up to size 3yrs? my son is only 13 and half months and because he's got such a long body i have to buy him vest and babygrows for 3yr olds, there are nightmare to find!

Hi there ladies, my initial question has certainly spurred off a huge discussion, i can't tell you how much i have laughed reading all the messages (particulary about presuading husbands to buy).

Yes Linda Williams 2, i did purchase the zia (in cranberry - which is incidentally quite pink!!!).  I would give it . 9.9 out of 10 (very nearly perfect)

(can i just inform you that i have got my husband bugging me right now to use the laptop stating "i hope you're not still going on about prams", how annoying!!!)  I'll do what i do best and ignore him!!!

Why 9.9 and not 10.  well, i'm lazy and tend to keep the raincover on the pram, however this restricts access to a part of the handle bar that requires to be clicked into position on unfolding (nothing drastic, just have to push the raincover out of the way!)

Nicola Marriner, did you decide to purchase???

Husband back, got to go!!!

bye

Hi try Next, theirs are usually quite long, the one I had for Bradley last year still fits him now, it's the dog one with ears   it's handy for sticking on over his baby gro when I'm on the school run with Maddison, or when I'm dropping him off at my mum's (when I can't be bothered to dress him!!!!!!)

I also gave up full time work this time after missing out a lot on Maddi, I work for Slimming World as a team Manager now and so I tend to be out a few evenings a week, which suits me, but sometimes when I'm supposed to be working at home I find myself on here now chatting to you guys!!!!! So it's all swings and round abouts I think,  you just have to find what's best for you hey girls                                                                    Is your house still in one piece Andrea?

andrea...hope the party went well and little summer enjoyed herself (and her brothers !)
