that you have to put in to keep babies warm at night etc.  The fleece still fitted Dylan (although looked hilarious) when he was 2 1/2 and 'had an accident' we had no other cloths and although way too short still fitted round waist. So to cut a vey long story short try them and if not let me know and I will find the make of it and give you measurements x

Things you have to do when children have accidents (nappy leaks) iTS funny when you look back.

when Ben suddenly grew out of his last size of nappies i ended up stripping him off in the car and he was sat in his car seat with just his 'children in need' t-shirt on (!!!) and his fleece foot muff wrapped round him. driving round on a sunday afternoon trying to find a supermarket before it closed to buy him the nxt size of nappies and some clothes.

I never thought of trying outdoor shops buts its fairly obvious really! Thanks andrea i'll have a look now

It has been a long wait but the Zia footmuffs in teal and cranberry are now available! I have just recived mine in teal and it was worth the wait. It is a simple shape that blends perfectly into the buggy with cream fleece lining inside. My baby (now 15 weeks) looks really cosy in it and I can still fold it quite well. I am not sure if older kids would be comfy in it as the end is triangular shape (like the pushchair) so not much leg room, but for a baby it is perfect! I got it from www.biz-e-kids.co.uk  at £29.99. Hope you are all well!

hi all, has anyone had problems with the wheels coming off the Zia ???

the back wheel has come off three times now when going up a kerb. i know they can be removed but surely not this easily !

Show/hide user stats

Hi linda, my back wheels have also come off when i've been walking around i think the catch to remove them is getting caught while folded on the basket. when i un-fold it now i just quickly push all the wheels to ensure they're clicked into place.

I've had a a few complements lately on the zia asking where i got it from and how much!

my 5 year has been in ours as he is ill and it was fine . he is a bit tall 114cm but weighs 19kg whatever that is!  It is the smallest foldown I've ever seen and my husband always insists on pushing it and he's 6ft.  hope this helps (oh and you get stopped in street!)

HI Vix, my son is the size of a 2/3yr old at 16month and he's fine in the zia, and it will easily fit into the boot of a clio with room for shopping! I don't sit the seat up to straight as he seems to be more comfortable at a bit of an angle

I'm thinking of buying the Zia but want to see it in the 'flesh' - can anyone tell me where they stock them please?

Thanks

hi debbie, i've only ever seen the zia on the internet, but mothercare have recently got there new stock in and thay could have one there. Read back towards the begining of the thread it will have all the different web sites on there. xxx

i got mine from kiddicare.com and now i'm after the footmuff to go with it, you  tend to get free gifts with kiddi care if you spend over a £50

Hi what an fun half hour I've just had reading all your posts.  It is so good to know I am normal, thought my buggy fettish was unique!!!!!  I ordered a Zia yesterday from www.nurseryvalue.com they are currently doing free p&p, a free carry bag and 10% off, mine cost £98.99.  I ordered the cranberry as have a daughter, I'm just about to order the matching footmuff from http://www.preciouslittleone.com/acatalog/PSFMC.html as it's the cheapest I've managed to find at £26.95 including delivery.  After reading all your comments looking forward to receiving it even more now.

Hi everyone, I didn't end up getting the zia because I fell in love with a Peg Perego Pliko in bright orange, it probably is not as convenient as the zia but I love it anyway, I am still considering a zia for the car and holls though. Just to let you all know though that there is someone who can make liners for the quinny zapp on ebay, I have enquired as to whether they fit the zia, she said she could make them to fit the zia, they look really nice and will keep your pushchair clean in the summer months. Just put in quinny zapp liners and it is by someone called snunkie.
