Hi ladies

How are you all today, Debbie how are you, any change from yesterday?

Laughed at Codie's encouragement to her poo, aren't they funny?

Jay woke up a few times last night, I think he's wriggling too much and getting himself stuck at the top of the cot, wedged in sideways!  I'm knackered today.

Well I sent another email to this site about my prize and they're following it up for me, good stuff, if ever I could do with a buggy brolly its now, raining yet again here today, hope it clears for the weekend or next week when we're hpoing to get away in the van.

Anybody got plans for the bank hol?

joanne, you'll probably get the prize in october- just in time for the snow!!

i'm off to cyprus on sunday-yippee. cant wait, although i've heard its 50 degress at the moment- bit hot!!

That'll be fab Beth, yep its a bit hot but hey it'll be lovely compared to this misery.  Make sure you take your factor 60!!

Have a lovely holiday Beth!!!!

Joanne, no plans for us other than painting walls - great fun!!

Fab news -  I ordered my car seat today. Mothercare have £50 off the Maxi Cosi Priori XP so it's now £95 and with a 10% off code I found it's the cheapest I'd seen it anywhere at £85.50!!!! such a bargain Nan bought one too!!

Code is -

10% off code: NDR8 Expires: 31/08/2008
£10 off £100 spend code: EM7 or LC7

Also, Matt had a sandwich for his lunch today for the first time. He had Dairylea with the crusts cut off and he loved it!!! then he had banana chunks and a yoghurt so v.v.v.v. messy!!!. Any other ideas for a filling that won't just drop out when he picks the sarnie up??

Morning

I am fine thankyou Joanne, just having a very bad period so i'm assuming thats why i've had pain. Never had one this bad before! Good to hear that TB are chasing up your prize to.

Beth hope you have a good holiday in Cyprus you lucky thing.

Lisa glad you had a good holiday, saw your pics on FB there are some lovely ones there.

Lauren, i give Callie ham and Marmite in her sandwiches (not together though) she loves both.

I have a busy day today, got 2 parties to go to!! My nephews 1st birthday this afternoon and a friends 30th tonight. Don't feel like going at all but i'm sure i'll be fine once i'm there, can't seem to get motivated at the mo.

Have a good weekend x

lauren, i've read  you can give babies from 8 mths peanut butter sandwiches as long as there is no nut allergy in the family.also, maggie loves having marmite too!!

Hi,

Thanks to Lauren and Polly and anyone else who mentioned the maxi cosi deal in mothercare, have just ordered the car seat using code (although could only use one code so had to pay 95 inc delivery - cheeky fuc*ers!).  Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday.  I managed to drag Ben away from his work to take us out for lunch!  Hopefully it'll be sunny tomorrow so we can get out and about without getting wet! x

Hi all x

It was Paige's 3rd birthday yesterday! I cant believe where the time has gone! We went to my parents guesthoue on friday, me,Chris and Hannah came home last night but Paige and Kezia are staying till Sunday! Its gonna be soooo quiet this week!

I drove home form Keswick, i passed my test over a year ago but i have always had a fear of motorways but i finally cracked it!! im so pleased with myself.

I have also decided to get on and loose the rest of my weight now.I have gone back up to 10st 3lbs! so i have 17lbs to loose Chris is trying to loose some too.We have decided to have a comp and see who can loose the most before the 22nd of September but we need an incentive/prize to keep us going, any ideas??

Morning ladies

Hope you all had a good bank hol weekend.  We had changeable weather here - was lovely on Sunday, we went out for breakfast in Tynemouth then decided to take Jay onto the beach for a while.  We've had him down there before but never been nice enough to put him on the sand.  He seemed to like it but he did not like the sea (there's some pics on Facebook)!!  Not surprising since its so bloody cold but like all kids I'm sure he'll end up loving it.  Just went shopping in Newcastle yesterday - bought a sum total of some socks for Jay and a baby card for some friends - big spenders or what?!

Glad you're ok Debbie.  Hope the parties went well.

Emma, I can remember you doing your driving test.  I can't believe its been a year.  Good for you tackling your fear.  I also I can't believe its another year for Paige too, I remember you making her cake last year.  Time has passed by so fast.  Shocking how close we are to our babies' birthdays and Christmas.  Jay is 8 months old TODAY and I just don't know where that time has gone.

I've stopped my weightwatchers too Emma, after my friend's wedding.  I have lost all motivation but I know I need to find it again or I'll head down the lard arse slippery slope!  Its so hard as I really enjoy food and wine!!  Oh well, I have to make a choice - at the minute the food is winning but I'll soon get myself back on track.

Jx

Bloody weather i hate it !!!  time is flying by too quickly just think joanne, caitlin and jay will be 1 in 4 months !!!! aarrggghhhhh

Hi all! I wish I'd had a lazy weekend. We've been up at my dad's place in North Wales all weekend. Bloody bank holiday traffic, it took us 7 hrs to get home as opposed to the normal 5! Charley has her two top front teeth now finally, she's been a little moo recently but I guess it was because of that.

Wow sandwiches! I never thought about that already, we're still using jars. I feel like I've deprived her now! She had some banana chopped into sticks instead of mushed and did really well.  I do kinda feel that with her going to nursery I don't realise how much she can do, does that make sense to anyone?

HI LADIES JUST CATCHING UP ON ALL POST, HAD 5 GLORIOUS WEEKS IN TURKEY, AND FLYNN WAS SOOOO GOOD, ITS AMAZING WITHIN THE WEEKS AWAY, HE SITS UP SO WELL, AND EATING FINGER FOODS REALY WELL ESP BANANAS AND DAIRYLEA SANDWICHES.

HOPE EVERYONE HAD GREAT SUMMER HOL, ALTHOUGH WEATHER NOT BEEN GREAT IN ENGLAND.

FLYNN ROLLING OVER AND SAYING DADDA, BUT HE SEEMS LAZIER THAN MY OTHER TWO, AND STILL NO TEETH!!!

Ha ha, dairylea sandwiches seem to be very popular on here.  Jay loves it, he had some yesterday, he does very well with sandwiches in spite of no teeth.  I'd run out of his yoghurts yesterday and hadn't realised so after his sanga at lunch time I gave him a rusk mashed with a bit of full fat milk and banana - he loved it.  I have to say he's excellent with food, he refuses nothing.  Don't be daft Jo, Charley's not deprived because she hasn't had a sanga yet - we do a mix of sangas, jars and whatever we're having.  And what you're saying about nursery makes perfect sense, she'll pick up all sorts there.

Donna, how lovely for you, all those weeks of sunshine.

Well I think I'd better get the hoover out, can't help thinking it could be grandparent overload round here today!

Hi everyone

Been a while since I've been on here as we have been moving house - strangely we now live directly opposite our old house but now have a much bigger garden so Harrison is happy!

That's a great deal on the car seat Lauren.  Does anyone happen to know whether it can be used in a car that doesn't have isofix? Neither of ours do so want to make sure before I order it but really want to order it today?  Have tried to make sense of it but maybe I am just being thick?!

Harrison now has his first tooth but his sleeping is a nightmare! Was introduced to the wonders of Medised last night though and despite having to lie to the pharmacist to get it, I don't regret it - first time both of us have slept through in ages!

Hi Jo, the Maxi Cosi Priori xp that's on offer at the moment is for cars WITHOUT the Isofix thingy. Ours don't have that. Glad you had a good sleep. I'll have to remember that about Medised!!

Matt's been asleep now for over 2 hours. It's the longest he's slept in the day since he was a few weeks old!! It's very odd and I've already been in to make sure he's still alive and turned the monitor up!!! I'm going to get more biccies and another cup of tea, I quite like this napping lark xx

I made Paul buy Dairylea when he did the shopping!!! Come saturday she's gonna be having a sandwich at lunch time - not sure what the nursery give her for lunch, I should check really! Whatever it is she has "large large large" of it. LOL
