Hi all. Jo hope the knees are better soon. x Emma, congrats on the weight loss - thats brill. I didn't make it to WW on tuesday because Isabella was taken into hospital - again! She has another water infection and they are not sure whats causing them so she is on antibiotics for this one and once its all cleared up she has to go and have some tests done on her kidneys to make sure they are functioning properly. Best case sinario its just another infection (or the same one that never quite cleared up) worst case there is a problem with one of her kidneys. It freeks me out when this happens because she went blue again (hands, feet and lips) and her oxygen saturation drops as well. The blue hands and feet is common in babies who have high temps, somthing about them trying to cool themselves down, as is the shivering - the blue lips are the problem - not so common i'm told. Now just waiting for the results of her last urine sample and a referal letter so that she can see the necessary specialist. On a happier note, Isabella is finally starting to try and crawl, we have only had a couple of crude attempts but its a start. Have a nice weekend ladies, lets hope the weather in london improves! xxx

Hi Jemma, Sorry to hear about Isabella again, must be such a worry. Hope the antibiotics clear it up once and for all and she is home safe and sound very soon. Try and have a good weekend x
Jemma, that sounds so scary. Really hope it's not a kidney problem. x
Poor you Jemma, happening once is scary enough but twice in a matter of weeks! I really hope her kidneys are fine, fingers crossed for her x Callie is trying to walk with her activity walker! She goes a bit fast tho and her legs can't quite keep up so she falls over quite alot, has another bruise on her cheek weher she's hit the deck. It doesn't put her off tho, crazy child! Enjoy your weekends everyone x

Afternoon all! Thanks for the well wishes about the knees, they're alright now aside from a large scab on one and the bruises are turning yellow now, I feel like a child in school! Jemma I hope you're OK. Hope Isabella is OK, I would crap myself if I were going through what you are! All fingers crossed, and don't forget about yourself while worrying about her xxxx Right well aside from "Dadda" Charley has mastered "car". I thought it was a fluke that whenever I put her in the car she says it but my friend was waving my car keys at her today and she repeatedly said it. I thought she might have been trying to say "ta" but we never use that word cos I hate it, plus she can't say the T sound yet. Still haven't mastered mamma tho Lara nice to see you back again! Valentines day huh - would be lovely if he/she keeps her due date!!! And Debbie, Charley's been on her feet a lot holding onto things, she still wont crawl at all, and now has stopped rolling and hates being on her tummy! She loves standing up so I am going to get her a walking thing too. I forget Callie's a month older.

Thanks Ladies, I'm keeping everything crossed that its just "one of those things". Going to the docs tomorrow to get the results of the last sample and get the referal letter for the kidney specialist. Will let you know how its goes. Ok, so Isabella has learnt how to scream and its driving me mad! She is now constantly screaming, especially when things don't go her way. Hope everyone has a great week. xx

Good luck for tomorrow Gemma, i hope its good news!! Hannah has mastered the end of row row ya boat, you know the "if you see a crocodile dont forget to scream" bit? she throws her arms out and screams! its sooo cute x
Hope evrything's ok Jemma. Matt likes a good scream too the little monkey. He's still commando crawling but can pull himself up to standing using the sofa now so don't know if he'll bother crawling properly!! Having to be really tidy now as if there's anything on the sofa or coffee table he just swishes it all onto the floor and chews it!!He's got a walker too but when he tries to pull himself up on it it just runs away so think he needs a bit more work at that!! Tried some new sarnie fillings this week, tuna and hoummous (not together!) both were good. Hope you've all had a good weekend x

hiya all, i've been back at work a week now and hate it already!!!i'm just sooo tired.i have to be so organised now and get clothes bottles, uniforms etc eady the night before.i'm in bed by 9.30 mysself. maggies got her 9mth check next week, has anyone had theirs yet? i can't remember what they do? beth xx

Good luck today Jemma x Beth Callie had her check at 7 months. It's just to check their progress like co-ordination, passing toys from one hand to another, if they can pick tiny items up with thumb and index finger. They have their head, length and weight measured. They also check that the creases match on the legs. I also got asked how i was doing and had to do that depression test again. Emma that sounds really cute, i love it when they do knew stuff. Callie screams lots to, it's so high pitched and really hurts my ears. She usually does it when my other 2 won't let her have their toys and if i tell her no! Codie had her first hour taster at nursery today and loved it. She didn't want to leave and would of been quite happy to stay there by herself playing, thankfully there were no tantrums tho, phew xx

Having a horrid day already Callie is getting her top 2 teeth and not coping with it very well at all. She had me up until 3:30am screaming, i tried everything!! Anyway was up at 7 to get kids ready for school then had to put car in for MOT at 9am and walk back which is miles away. Garage just rang and it's failed!!!! Got to find £200 now to pay for it and the tax runs out at the end of this month, aaaarrrrgghhh. Sorry about the moan but feel a bit better now x
Hi all, Hope your day has got better Debbie, we were the same MOT for car was £300 and Bens bike was also £300, plus tax....so we are skinto! Am sulking with Ben at the mo as he said we couldn't go on holiday next year as we can't afford it. Im one of those who would rather just pay on a credit card as I NEED a yearly holiday! I know I'm lucky I only work 2 days a week (and will be going on maternity in Jan!) but I still need a holiday! Sorry the moan! Molly has also got more teeth coming through ands just seems to whinge most of the day unless I'm constantly entertaining her! She wont get a check until a year old here, but hope everyone elses goes well. What else can I give Molly at lunch time? I don't like giving her bread everyday....any ideas? Thanks, Lara x

Hi Lara What about scrambled egg or an omlette? Does she like eggs? Or cauliflower cheese? Otherwise I've made lots of recipes from the Annabel Karmel book which Molly loves. Oh and she adores avocado and banana mushed together.
Debbie, hope your day got better. x

hi all, just a quick note.I went to WW last night and i have lost another 1.5lbs! so only 9lbs to get to goal! wahoo!!
That's brilliant Emma!, I'm joining ww tomorrow and kinda dreading the scales as we've had loads of takeaway lately while we've finished the kitchen. Can I ask if you do the core or the points plan. Not sure which to try x Debbie, hope Callie and the car are feeling better soon!! Lara, hope Ben caves and agrees to a hol!!

Hi all. Saw that doc and he didn't have Isabella's results bloddy NHS asre so slow! Anyway i have her referal code and will be making her appointment today. I went to WW last night and lost 3.5 lbs loads still to go but its a start. Lauren So don't get hte core plan so i do the points if that helps. My leader said that she has a couple that do the core put count points whatever that means? Couple of questions ladies - Isabella is covered in a rash on her back - goes neck to bum and looks like little white blisters and red spots that get inflamed when she's hot but don't go away when she's not. Seen the doc twice and he says its nothing but its getting worse, any ideas????? Also, anyone's baby decided that they no longer want to go through the night - i'm back to doing a feed between 2-4am. Isabella has a massive dinner but then only takes 4oz of milk before spitting her bottle out. Any ideas how to get her to take a better milk feed before bed so that she sleeps better?? xxx
Well done Jemma xx Lauren i do the points plan too as i cant stick to eating 3 regular meals a day and im not a huge fan of veg which you tend to eat more of on the core plan x

Evening All, Lots going on here! Well done to those dieting and good luck to those who are starting - I'm still on the see food diet - I see food and I eat it - so weight loss is not happening this end - I don't seem to have the focus to lose weight - guess it will come off eventually Kya decided that she was not going to go to bed last night - after settling at 8:00 she decided to get up at 12:00 and stayed awake until 6:00am - finally she relented and went to sleep only to wake up again at 9:00 so I am completely shattered! This is the fourth night running that she has had really broken sleep! Money is also really tight here - I have been working part time but the company I am working for have decided that they need someone full time - and I can't do full time because of lack of childcare (the cheapest nursery locally charges £52.00 per day 8-4) sos as soon as they find someone I'm out of a job - and finding part time work at the moment is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack so I'm sulking and worrying all at the same time! So now I'm hoping that my car does not fail is MOT because it and I will have to part company if it does! Anyhow - no point in moaning too much about things only makes this worse - so I'm now going to try and relax with a cup of hot chocolate (low calorie) and try and drain today out of my system and prepare for a more positive tomorrow Hugs to all xx

Evening all Haven't been on in what seems like ages. Have just had a quick scan through the posts so sorry for anything I miss. Great stuff ladies with the weight loss, tremendous effort on your parts, wish I could get myself motivated again. Lara, how lovely a valentines baby. Jemma, hope they get sorted with Isabella's results and sort the problem out soon, shoddy NHS. We were away in the van last weekend at a VW show in Malvern. Had a good time but it had been one of the flooded areas so consequently spent all weekend in the mud in wellies. Still the wine soon blotted it out, ha ha!! Jay was a little angel, he had to stay in his pram pretty much all weekend as we couldn't put him on the ground and he was cheerful all the time. Jay still has no teeth at all, very slow on that front. However doesn't stop him eating anything at all, he hasn't refused a thing yet! He's now taking quite a few steps around the furniture, can't believe it, he's not 9 months yet. Don't think he's that far away. Wondering if his body knows he's going to walk soon so is letting him master that before giving him any teeth he can break or injure himself with! We are skint beyond skint now cos my money has stopped totally now but I'm hoping I get made redundant in October. And I'm loving the time with the little fella so I'm in no hurry to get another job (though better not let Paul hear me say that!). Hope you and the babies are all well. Jx
