morning hun

i lost weight by eating cereal for breakfast and dinner and just having an evening meal - and became obsessed with the gym lol - since i lost the weight it seemed to stay off beacuse i found wen i was on the depo injection i was ALWAYS hungry no matter what i ate and i wud say after about 2 years of been off it i returned to normal

i feel so sickie this morning even with the anti sickness pill waaaaaaaa woe is me

Morning! I think it is all about eating the right food & the right portion sizes isnt it? I went to the gym after having Charlie which was fine while I was on maternity leave but trying to combine the gym into working full time & having 2 children at home just wasnt possible - I was running myself into the ground!  Im gonna ask James to buy me a Wii Fit so I can do stuff on that instead of going to the gym - it doesnt help that I actually hate the gym & swimming for that matter! Before I fell pregnant I was doing that Natalie Cassidy fitness dvd - it was really tough but I think it was working! I just dont want to be a fat heffa for the rest of my life! Ive struggled with my weight for years now & I just want to be happy! Im never gonna be a size 8 & wouldnt want to be as it wouldnt suit my frame but Id love to be a comfortable size 12-14. Ideally be able to walk into a shop, pick up a pair of jeans & know they'll fit! God Im so depressing at the moment, sorry!

I feel so sorry for you suffering from sickness so badly - we all take from granted that it will automatically go away at 12-14 weeks! You must feel awful? But it will all be worth it in the end x

well yesterday was really hard, i came back to Scotland on my own and will be on my own for at least a week and a half

i have ante natal appointment today and being all dippy i didnt write down the time but had it in my head that it was 10 or 10.30.  my mum said go in for 10 and just wait around but i thought no i will call them.  so i called and its at 1.45!! so glad i didnt take my mums advice!

At least Im not the only one who's mind is shot to bits then (makes me feel a bit better!) Im forever forgetting what time my appt's are & even when I write them down, I doubt them! I rang my midwife about 6 times to confirm the time of my last appt just had it in my mind I was wrong! I wasnt!!! 19 weeks today & only 19 more sleeps til my scan! YAY! x

well i think its definatley a boy!

Blob is a total rascal.  You may remember at my 12 week scan we were in there for over an hour because blob wouldnt keep its head still to get the measurements of the nuchal fold.  Well at the appoinmtent today every time she found Blob with the heartbeat thigny he buggered off and hid somewhere.

in the end after about 10 trys she managed to corner Blob as low as it could go and then used her other hand to push my belly above where it was so that it couldnt escape!

it was great hearing its heartbeat because ive had such a bad month that i was really worried that id lose the baby. 

it was sad that darren wasnt there though, he got really upset last night because he wanted to be there especially as its the first time that we got to hear it.

im not holding out much hope for finding out the sex at 20 weeks. i have a huge feeling this stubborn monster is going to keep its legs firmly crossed!

Found out today OH's younger brother has got his GF pregnant by accident... feel a little hurt cuz we waited till we were in a good position and also feel our baby may be forgotten about for theirs. Maybe thats silly.. Maybe it's my hormones.

28 more sleeps till my next scan, I'm 17+1 today

I didnt hear babies heart at 12 weeks , but saw it flash on the screen, hoe come you got to hear it! I am hoping to hear it at the 16 week check on the doppler next week!

Do any of you guys have pains in your tummy now and again almost like stiches? they come and go, and only are around for a few mins at a time, think they are also konwn as Round Ligament Pain. Anyone experienced this? App more commen in the second Tri

yes! like a stitch but not as bad and in the same place you get a stitch.  its like a small wave of pain.

Morning all, how's everyone doing today? Ive got a really crappy headache that Ive had since yesterday, Im hoping it'll go away but 4head & paraceptamol arent doing much good at the moment!

Lauren sounds like you've got a right little monkey on your hands - he/she will certainly keep you on your toes once it arrives!

SJ - welcome back chick! Re: your OH's brother getting his girlfriend pregnant - you're not being silly at all babe! My brother's got his GF pregnant when I was carrying Jasmine & I felt it was just to steel my thunder (now that seems really selfish) but i just thought they hadnt been together long, she already had 3 kids by 3 different fathers - all of which were dressed really badly & looked malnutritioned so it seemed a bit of a ploy to me! Maybe you are a little hormonal too but personally I can completely understand! Im sure you're baby wont be forgotten about though!

Wendy I too have been getting pains but mine are all over the place - Im now 19+1 & apparently I'll go through another stretching stage now so I think we all have pains for different reasons - I doubt its anything to worry about! Oh & you'll definitely get to hear babies heartbeat at your 16 wk appt - its amazing!!!

hey everybody - havent been on the site for a while had a stinking cold and it really hit me for six!!  Listened to the babys heartbeat yesterday it was so cute I nearly started crying midwife said babys heartbeat is strong which is always a good sign!!!  3 weeks til my scan and I am now getting so impatient cant wait to find out what Im having!!!

mother and baby or prima baby told me that week 17 is discharge week LOVELY!

i think i might be a bit sad if my sister in law lived in this country and was pregnant to, im loving all the attention im getting from my parents and relatives, id hate to share it, i think its just human nature.  luckily she lives texas so even if she was pregnant she wouldnt get the loving that im getting hehe.

i have noticed that my hormones have made me a bitch! i am bitching about everyone and everything. people that didnt annoy me before now annoy the hell out of me! the also put me in evil moods. i found out today that Darren actually did sleep with someone else so i messaged the girl and told her he had an STI, damn it made me feel good!  With this bombshell of news its pretty certain that im moving back down south and doing this on my own with the support of my parents.  The navy have advised me to stay put for a few days so that they can get Darren up here to "discuss" things, more like im going to beat the shit out of him! so that im not alone whilst they get him up here my friend and her boyfriend have driven up from Preston to stay with me. By monday i should know what on earth is going to happen in my life.
