I hope someone can answer my question or maybe this happens to most of us..I came off the pill about 7 months ago. My cycle lengths vary.

30days,  then 28,28 again, then 29, then 35 and now im on day 31 and no show yet.

Any advice please

Hi.

It can take over a year for your cycle to get back to normal after stopping the pill. If you are ttc id take a test to find out if youre pregnant.

Hi ya yeah ive done a test and it negative, but been to the docs. Booked in for a blood test in 3 weeks to see if im ovulating.

i wasnt on the pill but on the implant and came off it in april had one cycle that was 31, then next one was 21 so god know how long this one will be curently on cd24

i think sometimes the body takes a little while to return to normal?

well my af arrived today unfortuanly booooo! so this last one was a 25 day cycle so have had 31, 21 and 25!

Hi...just  quick one...i had been on the pill since I was 16...for about 4 years...I thn decided to have the implant!

My periods were never that regular....afer having the impant  out...so the docs said to me it could take upto 2yrs to have a baby...but 6months after trying...I am now nearly 27wks gone!!!! I was lucky...give it time girls..docs advised me 2yrs so my body could get bk to normal and sort its self out! ( i know it sounds like a life time away but when your body gets rid off all the stff from the pills etc...it will know)

thank you for your advice there dont seem to be many people who have been on the implant so its great to hear feedback from someone who has.

Thank you..to say it wasnt a shock tho! lol...didnt think it would be so quick..we were planning on geting married next year in aug..but have decided to leave it 4another year now!

Just thought id keep you all up dated my cycle this time so far im on day 36 no period.

Dont know why how etc? im due to dave a blood test 21 days after my period starts but still dont know.

I will just have to wait

i have heard of some people having a 40 day cycle so hang in there!  good luck it is very strange our bodies do like to test us dont they?

 I AM JUST SOOO FED UP AFTER 20MONTHS OF TTC, MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH ARE, WE ARE BEING REFERRED FOR TESTS AND JUST WAITING ON APPOINTMENT, CANT WAIT SO THAT I CAN START TO RULE THINGS OUT, AM NOT A VERY PATIENT PERSON, MY PERIODS VARY TOO, SOME MONTHS 28, THEN 25, THEN 24, THE LONGEST EVER WAS 30, ITS A NIGHTMARE, I WAS ON THE PILL FOR NEARLY 10YEARS AND IF I GET PREGNANT I WILL NEVER GO BACK ON, IT WAS HELL COMING OFF IT, DID ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCE BAD TIMES COMING OF THE PILL, I WAS ON LOGYNON

welcome ! i went straight from the pill onto the implant so dont know if there were any problems am currently ttc 3 months so far so still early days for me.  If you want to join us on the ttc cont thread there are some 20+ of us on there and someone may be able to give you more advice take care xxxx
