Hi everyone... just got back on the internet today so you would be hearing loads of updates....

As for the little one..iv got her registered so her full name is Jennifer Paige Houghton...

been down to see her 1 am.. and shes gone from 1ml upto 2mls every hr...from that to 5mls and last night shes now on 6mls every hour....Also shes managing off her cpap for nearlly 6hours... they've taken her off  T.P.N because shes having so much milk..but shes sill on artifisal fat to fatten her up..which she has now got chubby checks... she would be 20 days old which would be 2 weeks and 6 days...3 weeks old tomorrow...but if I was still pregnant I would be 30 weeks gone...cant believe its going so quick how nearlly 3weeks ago when I had her ..I was 27 wand 1 day lol but as your going through the days it draggs abit...

The travellin back and to from hospital has gone alot more easyer for us..so instead of travelling on the bus..weve got a care now... my main problem now is trying to express milk on a regular basis( as in remembering..it would be easier if the baby was here so i can just put her to the breast...but when she not here due to her still beg in neonatal...I keep on forgetting to express at a certain time at a few hours...

Im going to the hospital later on in abit so il come back online and let you all know on her progress. i hope everyone is doing well in there pregnancy.and look after yourselfs..and congratulations on your births if anyones had new bundles of joys.xxxx

Hi again...just got back from the hospital...theyve just upped her milk from 6mls to 8mls...which is really good...so proud of her......  also she had abit of an infection last night..but they found out the problem..which was *still* thorght to do with the Long-Line,so they taken that out..and they said that hopfully they wont have to put it back in seeing that she is nearlly on full feeds..and the nurses said I would be able to have her on the breast in a good few days, when shes better (cleared of the infection) which last time the antibiotics cleared up not last wensday but the wensday before that...which cleared up within a few hours.

Hi Tara...she wont be coming home till another month 1/2.say about beginning/midd september..it all depends really how well she is doing...the nurses say she healthy for a premature baby..even though she would still have her ups and downs.but all togeather though..she is doing wounderfull...

I would say that I am worried about her..but..I know some mothers get abit nervous when they come in to see there baby..and see loads of wires attached to there baby...I dont get really scared or nervous when I see the wires attach to Jennifer because I know that its helping her..but I got abit upset last night..( at about 1am) went to see Jennifer and she was having her bloods done by heels pricks...and she was crying...its not the crying that upsetted me..its knowing that having her bloods done was hurting her...but as soon as her dad started sroking her head after the doctor finnished with her...she started to calm down alot...

im going back to the hospital later to see how she is couping...

hope you are ok  and hows your bump...

from Claire and Jennifer xxx

BTW forgotten to add in... her weights...

on the day she was born, she weighed 800grms, then she went to 728grms,went down to 656grms, upto 698grms..then she shot upto 915grms (included her oxigen tube that goes down her throat) but now with her tubeing out..she weighs 836grms( which was the last time she was weighed)...shes going to get weighed sometime tonight or tomorrow when shes abit better because shes got a tiny bit of an infection caused by her longlinebut shes on antibiotics for the treatment...

Hi again..

I ended up in the hospital at 11pm didnt get out till after the witching hours...when I got there the nurses told me that she is on full feeds now...10mls every 2 hours....and they said they would have Jennifer on the breast in a couple of days, once the infection has cleared up...which would be cleared up soon..plus today when I go and visit her today...I would be finding out her new weight.

so ill post hew new weight and progress when I getback..

Hi claire thats exellent she is doing so well, i bet you can't wait to start feeding her yourself! she seems like a strong little girl !!

do you have any pictures to show us? god i sound really cheeky asking that lol
My friend had her baby girl at 28 weeks and was allowed to take her home 10 weeks later, she was so tiny in the hospital but very strong!!

remember if you need to talk i'm pretty sure i can say on behalf of everyone on the forums..we are here for you

Hi Tara and bump boy to be..... I do have loads of pictures to show you all...just waiting for my partners mum to load them on her pc..and then shes going to send the pictures by e-mail so I can put the pictures on the website.. so I would have the pics up and running in no time...(dont worry by being cheeky..im like that all the time lol )

even though my due date was 2nd october...the nurses say she should be out early/midd september so I would say a month 1/2 to go..

I just cant wait to goo and do the stuff what iv been dreaming about when I get her home...go to the brick pits to feed the ducks..go car boot sales..pushing her in a pram in genral...go for picknicks and go with some of my friends (who had there babys) to cafes for coffiee.. im so excited...

I cant wait to defintly take her home..but im sure the days will pass....stillnot got to the hospital yet going about 3ish because a friend wants to visit her so they will have to go at visiting hours...
