Hi claire hun caint wait to see them then!!! and you'll have your lil baby girl in her pram very soon and will be able to show her off to the world in no time, it will go quick and you'll be doing all the things you wanted in no time

time is dragging very slow for me i think, it seems like i'v been pregnant for years lol not long to go now til my little man comes into the world

Show/hide user stats

Hi Tara and Everyone... For me I sort of...wouldnt say i wished..but something like that...that Jennifer stayed inside my womb for alot more longer because I missed being pregnant....but now its sort of Im glad shes out...because I wouldnt have it any way..even though it would of been better for her to stayed inside.....but now its come to summer...im glad that im not pregnant...cause god...how am I going to coupe with this heat lol... but yer I wouldnt have it anyway...im glad she is here...and still i cant believe she was born on American Indipendance Day..and I would say shes very indipendant...including in her breathing...me and my partner ..when we o and see her we do abit of meditation and send to her through thorght breathing excersices...to help her on the way..

Been hospital today...not sure weather I mensioned to you shes gone upto 12MLS every 2 hours... plus last wensday or the friday...when she was weighed..Jennifer weighed 880grams...  yesterday Jennifer was weighed again..and she has gone upto 920grams...

Also me and my partner got a really nice comment from one of our faverotte nurses Pauline.. she said today and yesterday..how nice it is to see perants look at there babys as they would be if they where full term baby.(something like that). instead off worrying all the time about the machines..and waiting for when the machines to go off...

Jennifer is doing very well.. but as for me..the last few days iv not been so good with expressing milk...not been producing enough milk so what ever I produce it got halfed with formular milk..which she hasnt kept down...wasnt sick alot...so the nurses said would you consider Donor Breastmilk...so i thorght about it for a few minutes.. and I agreed..so shes having half of breast milk I produce with half of Donor breast milk.. but iv started drinking loads of fluids every hour..expressing every 2 to 4 hours mainly every 3 hours...which iv now gone upto 20mls from 5 to 10 mls..plus the  nurses prescibed this medication DOMPERIDONE..which is to stop people from being sick/vomiting and naursia...but the medication helps produce loads of breast milk so that should help alot seeing that I still want to be  breast feeding Jennifer when she comes home from hospital...and the best part of taking DOMPERIDONE is (apart from the extra increase off breast milk which is the main addvantage) but Larger Breast Increase   Yippi..*always wanted larger boobs lol*...

anyways i will still keep you all updated and i hope everyone is doing alright with there little bumps....and congrtulations for woman just got pregnant or have had there babys this month..

Hi just phoned the nurses  just a few minutes ago...and they said that they want to do a procedure..where everyday at a certain time..they take Jennifer off CPAP for about 5 to 6 hours a day..(even though she does very well breathing by herself)because shes very independant without the the CPAP *CPAP is where the machine doesnt breath for her it just inflates her lungs open just a tiny bit, and the CPAP only puts air into the lungs not oxigen....* ... so they are going  to take her off at a certain time a day..for a good few hours till shes totally off CPAP..(weining her off it) so i think its to do with her getting her prepared to go home in the next month and a 1/2..so when she comes home..she wouldnt have to take oxigen home with her...but even if she doesnt need it..I would prefere to take it home just in case of emergancy...even though it wouldnt be likly for it.

should be going hospital in a couple off hours.. after I watched One Tree Hill...which is on after Gillmore Girls...

I cant wait for this friday coming...Jennifer is going to be one month old..and Im going out round town for the first time in ages with my friends..for a little celabration  * even though I do not drink alcahol* not because Im breast feeding.. just do not like drinking*... but it would be fun...hitting the rock clubs well club..due to town only having one rock club in warrington lol which is sad..then would be hitting all the dance clubs...then going to visit Jennifer after a night out...

Il let you all know whats going on after I get home from hospital...

hope everyone is doing fab and hope all is ok

Hi Emma and Suzie, thank you ...hope yo to are ok...

iv got more update news to tell you.. been to hospital off course to see Jennifer... shes doing ever so well, growing ever so strong.. shes totally off cpap.. shes been off it all together for 4 days so far.. she has gone from 14Mls off breast milk every 2 hours upto 25 mls every 3 hours. but the best bit is even though Jennifer  not supose to breast feed from the nipple untill she is 33 - 34 weeks old (thats how many weeks i would be if i was still pregnant) .shes in life time - 1 month and 5 days old.... the nurses have started to let me have Jennifer on the breast to let her have a suck from the nipple, this was only 2 days ago iv started this.... the one thing that makes me laugh when i have jen on the breast is everytime I take my breast away from her mouth...(so it gives her chance to swollow the milk in her mouth and have abit of a breather).. but Jennifer was like NOPE..she lashes out her mouth to quickly grab my breast then she starts sucking dead fast lol..but it the ways she quickly grabs my nipple with her mouth then she would really clamps down..haha...

Also they have started to dress her in baby growths... but I chosed her 3rd baby growth but it just about fitted her..except that the arm sleves and the legs nearlly just aboout fit her...bless..

also the last time she weighed 880grams...but she has put on loads off weight..from 880grams upto 920grams... then she got re weighed on monday weighing a total off 1000 grams... she is getting weighed again today...so I should have the results by today to see is she has put more on also she has started filling out alot in the face..(I really need to get some picks of her on the site, im still waitging for my partners mum to upload the pictures on her computer... il get there eventually)... plus when im expressing now im getting more milk from my breasts...

il keep you updated... just cant wait to get her home soon as possible

Hi Emma and baby Olivia...

well the nurses say that they cant say how many weeks it is till she gets to go home..so they say that they look towards the due date... which would be the 2nd October 08 (my due date) but the nurses says that they reakon that she would be home early than her due date..the nurses says it all depends on when jennifer is ready to go home...

all she needs to do is put on more weight..( she now weighs 2lb 1/2 maybe abit more) but before she comes home she has to weigh atleast 4lbs...

i reakon she would be home in a month and a half...

im going back to hospital to breast feed jennifer... so im to excited but she is stilll clamping down hard on my nipple when i try taking my breast away from her mouth.. wichis really funny..I also dont find breast feeding hurts me at all...which im glad off...

hope everyone have a good night as for me im off to took my princess in bed (incubator)

Hi Claire,

Wonderful news that you are finally breastfeeding your little princess I bet it is the most amazing feeling in the world. Your posts almost have me in tears everytime I read them you are being so, so brave. You would have be due the same week as me and Emma we are 5th and 7th October. I really don't know how I would have coped with this you are such a wonderful Mummy.

I would love to see some piccies when you get a chance to post them up, but in the meantime keep us updated with Jennifer's progress. She sounds like a very strong little fighter, just like her Mummy and I am sure she will be big and strong enough to go home with you before you know it

Lots of love and hugs, Suzie&Squidge xxx

Show/hide user stats

Hi suzie.. hope you and squidge are doing very well and hope you are doing ok... thank you for your post it was very loverly reading the message ( and the rest of the ladys posts aswell )

I must addmitt yes its hard at first.. but since my parnteras got a car ( which his brother borght him from out off no where ), it has been alot more easier for us to travelle to hospital and back. it feels alot off the pressure lifted of o shoulders.... but since she was born... I tried hell of my best to not think of the worst, id just stay thinking positive and every time I go to see her I just send healing posivtive energy to her even if its by thorght. and my parter does cleansing her orah from any negative energy. ( because im a spiritual person, I didnt want negative energy around her orah). if you send posivtive energy and love to your baby.. that positive energy perpetuates and the more you send the more it helps and when i do i feel much more better because it clenses yourself aswell...(im going stop ranting about that for now)

anyways...iv rung up the hospital.. one of our faverotte nurse Elaine anserwed the phone.. and she said she is doing very well.. she has put on more weight.. but I need to double check with the nurse when I go and visit her at 3pm.

I dont really get worried anymore..I just miss her instead and cannot wait to see her.. I get very excited and brudy...lol...

My mum has invited me and pete (my partner) to a barbicue...but me and pete are vegitarians so my mum is cooking us somethings special...because my mum has invited over 30 people im getting a feeling that its going to be a suprise celabration party to congratulations...but I dont mind if it isnt as long as im with my family..especally that im getting along now with my dad since we havent spoken to each other for nearlly 4 years and only just started talking...

Ive also started writing a diray off everyday about Jennifers progress and my days at the hospital and what she has been doing..also i been writing down about when iv been breast feeding and wha she does when she is being breast fed... and till the diray is finished ..when its her 10th birthday.. well when she learns to read..and understands things properly.. im going to give her the diray for her birthday and then im giving her another diray and im going to say to her now this is your diary what you can write in about your speacial memories and thorghts in this diray to continue from this diray when you was in hospital when you was born...

so i shall post about jenni- ren when I get back from the hospital and tell you her weight.. have a nice day

sorry for the long read

Claire, your posts have had me in tears at my desk.  You are doing so well, it's lovely to hear about the progress of baby Jennifer - what a little fighter she is.

I'll be checking back to read up on you & the little lady - and probably crying a bit more.  Your positive attitude fabulous, and an inspiration for mums and mums to be on the tb community.

Enjoy your BBQ!  Take care xx

Hi Laura thankyou for your loverly post.... and everyone elses... you have all been a support with your posivtive jesture.. and its the biggest gift a person can recieve from another person...its been wonderfull reading peoples replys to the posts I put on.. and i get emotional when reading them because it lovely knowing that your not alone and how much it plays a part of your life no matter what the situation is...

I went back to the hospital last night, off corse to see little missy..lol.. I breast fed her and she was on my breast for quite along time...and Jennifer has now got "from what I worked out" - a faverotte breast ( the right one ), but the cutest thing is when I put her on my left breast.. she pulls the most funniest cute'es look on her face...wondering that breast feels and tastes different...(as you do when you try something knew)

Iv not been hospital hospital today yet..going in a couple of hours....just waiting for visiting hours cause iv got some friends coming who want to visit Jennifer.Oh another thing iv forgot to mension that yesterday and the day before ...Jennifer had loads off hickups and she sounded like a baby lamb...but it was funny how she couldnt stop hickupping..... awww she was cute.....

when I was at my perants barbicue... my mum gave me this baby's memory book and keepsake box.. iv got in the box jennifers first cpap hat, and a normal nitted hat, (clean)first nappy which is unbelivably small( dont think you could iamagen)hehe also one off her feeding tubes, cotten buds (what I used to put breast milk on and clean her mouth out), name wrist tags.... unbillicalcord clamp..which im going to have it dipped in gold but I think I might wait abit to have that done.

Im going to get going and leave this post as it is and il update on jennifers progress when i get back from the hospital...

Health And Happyness to everyone..Peace

Hi luce thankyou... ( I dont really want to be an inspiration to all mums... just if mums have just gone through the same thing as me and they want to talk about what they are going through..then im happly for them to ask questions and just have a genral chat with me, all they need to do is find my thread or il find theres)

and how are you doing hope you and bump are doing great...and all is well...

I went to the hospital yesterday of corse to see Jennifer.. and she was on 27 mls of breast milk every three hours.. and when i phoned the hospital to see how she was doing last night before I went to bed... the nurses said that they have upped her milk upto 34 mls every 4 hourly now to help her put on the extra weight... The nurses said on the phone that all they are looking for (for when she goes home) is full feeding on breast feeding and keeping her tempriture the right warmth and a little bit, tiny more breathing development and when she is able to do that just the way the nurses want her to do..then she is ready to go home with mummy and daddy. they reakon in a few weeks... I cannot wait

I should be heading at hospital for 2:30ish.. I think my mum is going to pick me up or I might be meeting her over there...

Health and Happyness to everyone
