Hello,
I'm barging in too here, sorry. I use cloth on my 2 youngest babies, and used it on my middle child too when she was in nappies. I wouldn't go back to dispos. Cloth is just so much easier as the leaks are very rare and when I used dispos I was forever changing sheets and clothes, not just nappies. I used prefolds to start with and found them very practical, then I discovered shaped nappies- wow, what a selection! all shapes sizes and colours.
Only thing I would disagree with is velcro- I find it a bind when it comes to fitting nappies- if you use nippa fastenings you can sort of pull the front of the nappy up to get a good fit round the legs which you can't do with velcro because it is set at a certain height.
Nappy lady is a great place to start as their advice is unbiased and based on years and years of experience from a large group of ladies! Plus they are incredibly nice and approachable.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancies and with using cloth- it really is fun, and where can you get cute coloured dispos from?
