Hi there, I am new here and like the look of the site and thought I would take the plunge and post. I was hoping you lovely people could suggest a pushchair suitable for my 1yr old and ideal for a shorter person (I'm 5ft 2ins). I did really want a Maclaren XT but, after looking at reviews and descriptions think the handle height might be too uncomfortable for me. This is the reason I am on the look out for a new one, the one I have now is uncomfortable for me as the handle height is too high, hurting my wrists. I have to say I do really like Mamas and Papas and quite fancy the Mamas and Papas Moove pushcahir, anyone any experience of this pushchair? have found it on the internet for £153 so don't really want to be spending much more than this.

Thanks in advance xxx

Hi Sarah
I'm 5ft 1 so have the same problem. I have a maclaren xt but have never really liked it as the handles are too high. I'm one of those mums who have had as many pushchairs as hot dinners (it's an addiction) so can probably advise on most pushchairs. I like all of the other maclarens eg quest as they have lower level handles that aren't as high as the xt, but don't adjust. I used to have RSI in my wrists so it can be a problem sometimes, and I live up some steps so have to haul everything up. One newish buggy I have is the micralite which although has slightly temperamental folding and a very small basket, has a great balance and is extremely easy to push - the only one I can steer/push just holding on with one hand. The handle is like on a bike and you can rotate it to the right angle. Good on rough ground (beach) and very lightweight. Wheels come off. It's good for an older child as it only has a little recline - not flat. My son likes it (2yrs) and I've upgraded it for my next child with a carrycot. I would recommend trying it. Has 2 big pneumatic wheels at back and smaller swivel ones at front.
Good luck, Jan

Hi
I need to get a hold of the clips to the tandem buggy I just got from ebay. It has BS7409 : 1996 and MK43 Obj on it I believe it is called Tandem Discovera/Jogger. It is from Kidz Kargo Kiddes
