We've been using the Tommee Tippee nappy bins for nearly two years, and recently bought a second one for our second boy, who's now four months. They've changed the way teh refills come (not sure why as it worked fine before), so there is one refill for 0-4 months, and another for 4+ months. I think it's to counter the slightly more pungent contents of the older children, which I guess makes sense.
However, since this change we've just not been able to buy the refills for the 4+ months. Our local Boots and Sainsburys didn't stock them, so I called the TT customer service line who said that I can get them at Boots, Mothercare and Tesco... but having gone to a huge Boots store, then having travelled 20 minutes on sunday morning to the biggest Tesco in the universe (a massive shop near Wimbledon), the same problem: lots of 0-4 months refills, and an empty shelf for the 4+ ones.
Is this a freak series of coincidences, or have any of you also experienced this problem? And what should I do? I'm tempted just to use the baby ones, but givenI have the bins I'd prefer to use them properly.
Thanks for any pointers / notice of a store in SW London that has them IN STOCK!!
