Hiya

We have bought a Chicco Trio system and planning on using the carry cot for the first few months instead of a moses basket. It comes with a removable mattress and liner but the instructions says "should I buy another mattress for it ensure it fits" etc etc. Can anyone tell me if I need to buy a separate mattress or not? I guess it makes sense too in case the baby wets it or something but I'm not sure what sort. Would it be the same for a moses basket?

Any advice appreciated!!!

My son is sleeping at night in his carrycot and i only have the one mattress he's my third child but the carrycot has been used for five babies in total with same mattress! If worried it will get sick or wee on put it in a old pillowcase before putting sheet on it.
