Hi, these pushchairs are really expensive now, considering how much use they get.

I had all my babies in the 1980's and know things have changed but I would not pay over £350.00 for one of these.

I'm going to shop around for one, obviously the babies best interest at heart.

I would like a lay back carrycot/pushchair.

hi i have the bebe loola carrycot, pushchair and car seat,i won it on thinkbaby, should have cost 500 but i know on ebay the packages go a lot cheaper, also, the pushchair alone is 225 but you coul buy a 2nd hand carrycot as they are only used for a few months, mine looks brand new and its such a shame really.

hope this helps and im sure that many more mums will have other really good prams to advise on.

also have you looked at the mamas and papas range where they have the newborn liner instead of a carrycot they are nice.

good luck with your pregnancy and shopping for a pram.

Hi nikki,

Thanks for your kind reply, I will only go second hand, I will also go into the competitions they have on here.

Its extortionate the prices now of everything, I will shop around thanks for your kind advice and support.

Do keep in touch.

Any advice is welcome.

hiya,

do have a look on ebay i have seen some very good value second hand packages a lot of mums tend to buy a pram and then not like it so you should get a batgain.

i agree that the prices are so high for prams with carrycots these days, all the extras too like raincovers cost and bags to match.

take care

nikki xxx

ps.local adtraders have lots of prams too!!

Hi Christine
You could go for a from-birth pushchair. Maclaren do an excellent one for about £170. This one has more padding that some cheaper from-birth models, and with a snuggled blanket will do as well as having a carrycot. Otherwise for about £225 Silver Cross do a pushchair and carrycot called the Dazzle. Both models will last the whole duration of your child's need for a pushchair.
However yes do keep an eye on this site and join in the comps!

Hi,

December the 9th my sons birthday. I don't want to have to pay extortionate prices for these items but put my own babies interests at heart.

I will go second hand for these I think and yes I am registered with ebay as well.

I want a thick padded carrycot and pushchair, I always believe that a baby should lay flat in any case.

Thanks for the great advice.
