HELP
We are off to the USA in April and we have booked a seat for the 1yr old as well as the 2 yr old.We want to take our car seats to use on the aircraft. We have Maxi Cosi Priori seats. Are they ok for use on the flight? We are flying with American Airlines and when we phoned to ask them which seat they recommended they could not say which UK seats were suitable..Does anyone know the answer please??

Are the seats rear facing as there the ones that mpost airlines reccomend.

The seats are not rear facing,Libby is 2yrs old and Joel is 14mnths so the rear facing ones are too small for them now.

The only approved list of car seats or child restraints i can find for use on aircraft are from the states: http://faa.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/faa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=28&p_created=1071174189&p_sid=Uo16jK-h&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MyZwX3Byb2RzPSZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3BhZ2U9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PUNISUxEIFJFU1RSQUlOVFM*&p_li=&p_topview=1
Ive just had a look on the maxi cosi website they clearly state that all seets meet or exceed the eu saftey regs so i'd be confident they'd be ok.
