Thanks for the tip off about these Laura Lee, they look really useful that's another thing to add to the nappy order then.

Newbie here! Been reading some of the forum stuff for a few weeks but now I've had my blood tests etc back (all fine) I thought I might join in!
These pads sound pretty good. Was slightly daunted by the thought of reusable nappies and all that, but actually, now I'm going to be a mum I feel a bit more 'earth mother'-ish!!!
(Decided to call myself by my due date like you Scribbler - good idea!) Lynn xx

MG Mum here again - must get my own login!
For all you eco friendly mums out there, once you're back into the normal monthly cycle after your little ones arrive, try looking at a mooncup - a silicon cup for replacing pads and tampons. Just got one for youngest daughter, MG pregnant again, so no need for her just yet.

You can buy them in Boots. Around £20, but last for YEARS. Might need a bit of practice, but as Laura points out, once you've done the baby producing thing, you get to know your body and all its various bits and bobs! Another thing I wish I'd known about years ago.
Good luck all :) MG's Mum signing off.

Thanks MG's Mum, sounds like a good tip. I'm going to check them out now!
