You can buy the iCandy at Daisy & Tom's in Chelsea... Not sure if you're in London though... For other outlets just call them on 01462 484858! I'm considering it too and would love to hear from others who have it what they think. Good luck :o)

The Baby Lady in Canterbury stocks this at £399 for pushchair and carrycot. Accessories: footmuff £50 and changing bag £30. I had a great play around with it yesterday and I think this is the one for us. Very similar to the Quinny although my 10 year old had problems steering the Quinny by not the iCandy. Maneuverability was fab (I only played with it in 4 wheel mode) but it is easy to spin in the tightest of spots. Handle height is fab - I'm 5'6" and it extends upto my chest!!! Will be perfect for hubby who's 6'5". I am trying to find a review before I commit as that's what hubby likes me to do, but I'm very hopeful!

Although it appears to be a *little* out of date, see http://www.icandyuk.com/stockists.htm for a nationwide list of iCandy stockists.
(There's also a review and thread on the iCandy Apple on this site - do a search by entering 'iCandy Apple' - no space between the 'i' and 'Candy' - in the 'Keyword' search box to see the review, then some useful blog entries by clicking the 'Read more...' link at the bottom of the review page.)

Go to www.babyboom2000.co.uk. I bought mine from these people after seeing them at the Baby Show in Earls Court last month, where it was being demonstrated by an iCandy rep (who advised me that these cannot be sold online). You can however get the phone number for Babyboom and call them.

Hello. Just thought I'd update you: having had the iCandy Apple for 7 months now we have found it excellent. It's easy to collapse, the seat turning around has come into it's own as our girl grows, it has a fantastic sized shopping basket, it looks really good, it's been 100% reliable (no punctures or anything) and, in short, we're so glad we bought it instead of the bugaboo (saving us hundreds of pounds). Only one slight downer is that the single wheel is a bit of a gimmick really: ours didn't fit very well and moreover we think the whole pushchair becomes a little unstable when it's in its three wheel configuration. Enjoy yours! Sean. ~PS: The iCandy website stockist list has now been updated since I last wrote: see www.icandyuk.com/stockists.htm. Also, check out the iCandy Cherry...

We bought the I-Candy Apple from Additions, they had a special offer on we bought the carrycot, bag and footmuff and maxi cosi carseat altogether. Have built the pram / pushchair and initially had problems trying to put the wheel on so in 3 wheel type mode but sussed it eventually. Only downside is that the closer it gets to my due date the more of them I see around the town!!!

Hey Nicola. Not long for you by the sound of it... good luck! I reckon you'll never see as many iCandys as Bugaboos! Here in St. Albans the ratio of Bugaboos to iCandys is about 100:1... Sean.

Hi All Please help!! I really do want to buy the icandy - apple but I do not know whether I should also buy the carry cot. I have read conflicting information that it is suitable from birth (this is without the carry cot) & other information stating it is suitable from 6 months. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you Sarb

We have the carrycot and maxi cosi. baby not due until tomorrow so never used it as yet. Looking at it can see it would be used mainly as the weather gets colder. But my favourite is the maxi cosi car seat on it as not only does it look good also easy if going in the car. Fingers crossed our little one comes sooner rather than later and will update you then.

We have had the icandy Apple for 7 months now - brilliant, can only recommend it! We got the carrycot included in the package initially. I hope that is still the case, as I don't think the buggy is really suitable from birth. Our girl started using it (with the foot muff for additional padding and filling out the seat) as from 4 1/2months. Before that, use the carrycot, it's a really good size (longer than our moses basket), which you can also use as travel cot when you are on the road. Again, we didn't want a Bugaboo, wanted something solid and sturdy, so the icandy is fab. And the company seems to really listen to feedback - they have just released matching parasols and fleecy buggy inserts AND even better, there seems to be an additional system you can buy for when Baby number two comes along - it's all on www.icandy.co.uk.

We've been using the iCandy Apple Travel system for the last 4½ months & we LOVE it. We’re both tall & wanted something more than the Bugaboo. We live in London SW11, in an area dubbed Nappy Valley, and Bugaboos are terribly cliched. In a great shop called Lilliput (in SW8) they demonstrated the Apple alongside the Bugaboo. The Apple won every time. Our baby boy was an amazing 10½lbs at birth and very long, and there was plenty of room for him in the carrycot, although he was happier in the pushchair from 15wks, because he could see around him. With the footmuff & a lambskin he was comfortable & snug enough.ALL IN ALL DELIGHTED WITH PRODUCT. ROBUST, SAFE, COMFORTABLE, STYLISH, PEOPLE STOP TO ASK YOU WHAT IT IS AND WHERE YOU GOT IT. MEN ADMIRE IT BECAUSE IT'S NOT AS FLIMSY AS THE BUGABOO. WORDS OF WARNING/ADVICE: 1) DON'T BOTHER BUYING THE iCANDY PARASOL, IT WON'T LAST A WEEK, I KNOW 3 OTHER PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT THEM & THEY'VE ALL BROKEN. THERE'S NO TIE TO SECURE IT WHEN CLOSED, SO SPOKES CATCH ON THINGS AND SNAP/RIP. 2) UNPACK & AIR THE RAIN COVERS FOR WEEKS BEFORE FIRST USE. LEAVE OUTSIDE IF POSS. THERE ARE OVERPOWERING, OFFENSIVE FUMES FROM PLASTIC! 3) BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IN 3-WHEEL MODE, IF YOU TAKE A TIGHT CORNER IT WILL TIP OVER. ALL THIS INTO ACCOUNT: I'D STILL RECOMMEND IT OVER THE BUGABOO

i am also in London had an icandy apple because i was swayed by its good looks and the 3 wheels 4 wheels thingy, and kind of buzz and kind of bugaboo lookey likey DONT BE SWAYED by its extensive marketing blurb and fancy web site -this pram is areal DOOZEY absolutely terrible. Weighs a ton @5kg more than bugaboo Dreadful rickety suspension - hard to steer no maneoverability scratches easily 3 whhells mode really unstable i am note and am bemused that another poster details its many faults eg they state DON'T BOTHER BUYING THE iCANDY PARASOL, IT WON'T LAST A WEEK, I KNOW 3 OTHER PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT THEM & THEY'VE ALL BROKEN. ALL THIS INTO ACCOUNT: I'D STILL RECOMMEND IT OVER THE BUGABOO but still recommends it over cameleon- not a patch on cameleon the upshot is i sold this doozey less than one month after receiving it - was so unhappy with its steering, maneouverability, weight, unstable in 3 wheel mode ..and yes i bought a cameleon- and loving it icandy aple - don't go there

Baby born 3/9/07 at 9 pounds 13 ounces, a hell of a birth resulting in 2 failed sections as could feel the cut of the knife and ended up being knocked out my poor wife was still awake as they tried to insert tubes down her throat!!! I was whisked out of there sharpish.... aarrgghh!!! Anyway, have used the Icandy Apple from day one and to be honest were quite happy with it, had a bit of concern over the carrycot then realised to secure it there is a bit that pulls down from underneath!!! The maxi cosi fits on great and we tend to use this more for convenience, although carrycot when walking anywhere of disne. Logan our son seems happy enough in it. Did take advice about the rain covers and hung them outside on the washing line for a good few days, smell has gone, thanks for that tip.

Just wanted to clarify why I appeared to criticise the iCandy, yet stand by my recommendation. I think the three points I mentioned are relatively minor in the grand scheme of things - the parasol gets damaged because it needs a tie to keep it together when collapsed. I'm sure iCandy will it put right soon, after all the parasol only came out in June/July this year. Wait until they add a tie to the design, stitch on a tie yourself or buy a generic one with a clamp from Mothercare or Prince Lionheart. Secondly, the rain covers are made of polythene/plastic just like every other make of pram/pushchair. I would assume fastidious Bugaboo owners air theirs too (?) The three-wheel point is the only one worth worrying about as it makes the ultra-safe, sturdy Apple a little less so. The Bugaboo does not have three-wheel mode anyway so there's no comparison to be made in this category. If you really want a three-wheeler then go for the Phil&Ted's (then you're all ready for your 2nd baby too!) These are the only drawbacks I can find having used my iCandy Apple every day for 5½months. I just felt I wanted to share my experiences with anyone deciding between the iCandy & the Bugaboo. I can assure you the list of drawbacks I had for the Bugaboo is longer - small, flimsy, not suitable for tall people, carrycot flimsy (Apple carrycot fantastic), annoying fixed crossbars (Apple crossbars swing open to get baby in/out) doesn't collapse easily (Apple collapses in one move), did I mention common, way too common? Need I go on? Anyway, I'm really happy with the choice I made, but each to their own.

Have had the icandy for the past 12 months and am delighted with it. Would say it was suited to someone who walked a lot as it can be heavy to get in and out of the car. The carrycot is in a much higher position than the bugaboo and it is held securely in place by a support (unlike the Quinny and Bugaboo). Have used this with four wheels and it's been easy to manouevre and both the carrycot and pushchair are very comfortable (our son has slept in both but will not sleep in a buggy). Although the icandy is heavier than other buggies it feels much sturdier to push and I would highly recommend it.
