In the past I bought some leather baby shoes for my little girl when she was born which I loved as they didn’t keep falling off her feet when she wriggled around!! The only downside was they were quite expensive (I think they cost me around £18) recently my friend went to a baby show and saw somebody selling similar shoes so she gave me the web address. The website is www.shimmyshoes.com and the shoes are only £8.99. I placed an order last week and I have to admit I was keen to see what the quality would be like as there is such a price difference - but they are fab, I love them!!! Really cute designs and im really impressed with the quality and even better they are offering a reduced price for 2 pairs which is great as I’ve fallen in love with another design and my best friend has just had a baby. After all you can never have too many shoes!!!!

They sound good, don't think I've come across any for less than about £14 before.

My little girl had about 30 pairs of shoes until now, my poor little boy has only got one that fits him and previously only had 2 others. I think girls shoes look so much cuter and there seems to be more available, you get them in all the colours of the rainbow, where as boys are either brown or blue.

Have you checked out the monkey design for boys they are red and are really cute!! I know what you mean though Julia girls shoes are usually cuter!!

Hi, have you come across Daisy Dumpling's handmade crocheted shoes.  They are just too adorable.  Made in organic cotton and plant=-dyed alpaca/merino yarns and around £12 a pair.  I bought some for my niece and she just loves them.  Check them out.
