Can anyone advise me please.
I bought a Graco Mosaic travel system in March just before my DS was born. He is now nearly eight months old and no longer fits into the pushchair. He is not overly big for his age and I caint understand it. When I put him into the pushchair he screams at me cause he hates it. Basically the pushchair is too narrow for him and when he is in it he has to put his arms in front of him if you can understand what I mean. His shoulders are the width of the pushchair. I am so disappointed with it. When I bought the pushchair I was under the impression that he would see the best part of three years out of it he hasn't even gotton a year from it!
I got in contact with Graco. They were very unhelpful and told me to go back to the retailer which I bought it from as my warranty was with them.
When I called the shop they said they had no complaints about the product. She rang Graco on my behalf but again was told they had no such complaints on the product and therefore would do nothing.
Surely I cain't be the only mother that has found this problem.
Money is not the issue I will purchase him a new pushchair this week but I am disgused that I should have to.
The shop has offered to sell me a new McClarrens(sp?) pushchair at a discounted price but this is still about 200euro.

Have I any comeback on this or do I just have to grin a bear it?

Sos for the rant!!

Hi Joelou, sounds tricky. I am surprised that it is so narrow as most have basic standard widths etc. However, if it is supposed to be suitable up to xxkg (buggies usually go by weight rather than age), which will certainly be way beyond the weight of any 8 month old baby, then I think you could argue that it does not do what the description said it would.
I would not accept that 'well we've never had any other complaints' is a good enough reply to be honest.
Do you still have the original packaging? If so, check out what weight suitability it says.

hi there...i totally understand where ur coming from. i have a mosaic travel system and i HATE IT. when i push it, it feels like it is pushing backwards at me. do i need to be superwoman to make it go?? i changed the wheels twice in 1 year and they wore out again. plus it is so narrow my child's arms are always sticking out. it is a horrible pushchair. take it back i say, while u can...

I have a graco mosaic and have only used it a few months the brake pedal falls off and the rear wheels have hardly any tread left! My friend has the travel system and is on her second pedal and full set of wheels!!! Buy with caution....

I have just bought the mosaic stroller and my son barely fits into it ! I found a way to make the shoulder straps longer though. If you put your hand behind the velcro on the back of the seat pad you can adjust your harness, it has 2 plastic settings to lengthen the strap. It won't give you much but at least it's something. I've been using my stroller for 2 days and the whole frame is squeaking, it sounds like it's going to collapse !

By the way Laura.... did you happen to buy it from mothercare ? I've had some trouble with them in the past.. they never accept responsibility when a pushchair breaks ! I would advise anyone never to buy a buggy from mothercare as if anything goes wrong you are basically on your own. The staff have an answer for everything, I think they have been trained to ward off any person who might want a refund. I got my mosaic from toys r us and i wish i had read these reviews first ! Do you get the wheals replaced free ? By law you should if it's still under warranty,.

ive heard from a friend who has the above that her son has the problem and it no longer fits him.   Agree with anne marie about mothercare their aftercare service when one off their products fails is bad we had a pram when our son was born that fell to bits in 2 weeks and the manager off the branch blamed our using it too much although it was only 5wks old the car seat refused to lock in position and came loose while our son was in it and then kept jamming when we tried to take it out brakes failed suspension went   after the manager looked at it she offered a exchange but my husband refused and got a full refund as he kicked up a fuss and threatened getting trading standerds in.
