Charlene what is the make of the pram your waiting to get fixed?
Today Davy Lewis and i went into town just for a wander around so i wondered into mothercare and kinda vered toward the prams, had a wee look and Davy came up nehind me and said you thinking on up grading, so me says yeah i think so we hada look at the Quinny zapp which he likes then i went on to tell him about the Maxi cosi mura 3 he didnt go mad just said he likes the maxi cosi once we came home and i showed him pics on internet as mothercare dont have one on display i actually think they dont do them at all. So we're thinking either quinny zapp or maxi cosi although he doesnt yet know what price the maxi cosi is? he knows the price of quinny zapp as the price was on it in mothercare. I like the zapp as well so light etc etc but i do kinda want a pram that can rear face as i hate it when we're walking along an Lewis starts to talk away i talk back but he cant see me so he gives up where as if we're walking along and Davy is there walking beside the pram he talks and laughs away with Davy. I dont like the price of the maxi cosi either but feel it would be a good buy, ive only read good reviews on it the only negative i could find was the weight but its lighter than the one we have now so in those terms its not heavy for us.
I cant believe i just wrote so much about blinking prams but they are such an inportant part of 'baby life' so to speak. I have mad quite a few silly buys and dont want to end up doing that again, i currently havesome of my silly buys on ebay to try and get some money back from them but susspose first baby your allowed to make silly buys my worst is i buy Lewis too many clothes for the one size then my mum and sis come up to ours with even more and when he grows out of a size iam clearing out the stuff and find so many things unworn. I felt so bad as nearly everyone bought Lewis 3-6 months clothes which meant he had loads and sooo many things i never got a chance to put on him. ahh well i've lovingly wrapped them all up and stored them away just incase sometimewe have another boy, but Davy has came up with a theory that theorder of his dads kids where 2 girls 2 boys then 2 girls and he's looking as if he's the same he has 3 kids from previous marriages the order beinging 2 girls 1 boy then Lewis with me so makes 2 boys so likely if we had any more kids we'd have 2 girls so i joked the other night we have to have 3 more kids to have another boy ohhh you should have saw his face!
HI Ladies...I'm Back !!! so depressed!! really wanted to stay in Devon forever...hahah i wish got to stay an extra night cos my friend ddnt want us to leave...was sooo sad today lots of tears...because she is such a good friend and i miss her terribly. james has 3rd testosterone jab tomorrow!! think its grown....tee hee shall we send all the boys for a jab????
Hi Sarah, pleased you had a great time, i've still not got down to Cornwall.
I'm not getting rid of dogs, i couldn't let poppy go she's such an amazing dog and she'd never cope with being seperated from Dyson, I've spent so much time and money training her, I don't think I'll ever get another dog like her, I love the way I can call her back across the field and she'll skid to a halt at my feet wait for a heal command and run round to my left side and sit staring up at me, why can't husbands be that easy to train?? Not as intelligent as dogs I suppose. so the dogs will have to stay, although Dyson is not doing anything for his cause, he has rolled is horse sh*t 2 days in a row now. He has this wierd gift, he can roll in poo in the morning and you can absolutely hate his guts and want to kill him, but by nighttime he's giving you cuddles and you forgive him his days misdemeanors! OH wishes he could do the same thing (not the rolling in poo bit) but being able to annoy me and be forgiven so easily.
Ella is now in big cot bed, makes her look so small again. She transfered into it with no problem at all. Her biggest sister is moving in with her boyfriend on sat they have got a flat together, so I now have a room for Ella Yippee, I can't wait to have some space back in our room, I can't get out of bed without bashing into her cotbed.
I wish we could send OH's for a jab, although still only any good if they use it, maybe that side of things will improve once Ella is in her own room. Heres hoping
I'm off to bed before he beats me up there and starts snoring.
Gill and chunky lump (new nickname along with budda babe) she is so chubby she's heavier than Zoe was at the same age and Zoe was full term. at 25 weeks zoe weighed 13.13 Ella weighs 14.15 at 25 weeks. she loves her food, she had full roast dinner yesterday, was smacking her lips together between mouthfulls and smiling like a loon.
Jenna, I am waiting for a mamas and papas p3 I think it is, its a pushchair not the pram one. I love it so much and doesnt take up alot of room. I only bought it for a tenner second hand as the woman I bought it from mums friends daughterinlaw who had bought a new one and only used this one a hand ful of times as it didnt have a car seat. It looks so comfy! this other one the scally wags one doesnt and the wheels are huge - good for off roading! Which I dont need.
I am having a chiling day now, I have cleaned top to bottom not sure how I have managed it this morning. crazy going for a cuppa tea now.
I'm bored waiting for Ella to wake so we can go to garden centre to get some plants I take her into the aquatic centre to look at the pretty fish she likes that, she kicks her legs like a nutter and gets all excited, bit like her dad, but thats for cooked fish with chips LOL.
Hope everyone is OK
Gill and Ella (her dad is now calling her piella because she looks like she has eaten all the pies) he can talk!!!!
been out with some friends tonight (Just a social drink - nice coke cola!!)
Ciaran came with me - he is so gd and so social I hope that never changes! everyone loves him!
bit tired now though OH just gone to get me some chips yum yum
Ciaran has many nicknames our fav is wriggler - he has always been a wriggler and he was named it when I was pregnant with how many times a day he was kicking aboiut etc. Got poopy pants, but wriggler is the fav. Mr Ciaran Wriggler if you please.
Is anyone else going through the stage of not being able to leaqve the room - Think its called seperation anxiety?
Charlene, Ella is ok if I leave the room, but only if she is on her own in the room, if I leave her in a room with someone else she takes one look at them at screams the place down, its giving people a complex. She is very unsure of strangers, she hates people sticking their nose in her face when we are out, it makes her yell. Shame all these well meaning old ladies try to talk to her and she takes one look screws her face up and gives it large.
If she hasn't seen her sister for a few days, she gives her the screaming treatment for the first few hours until she gets used to her again.
Ella is also called poopy pants, and stinky drawers, and ellibellybum, and stinker! and cuddler, in fact We don't seem to use her real name that often.
Right she's awake time to see if we can master this rolling over thing, she did it once yesterday from her front to her back, I was impressed so was she, she hates being on her front, she was very pleased with herself.
Gill - Ciaran does the rolling over thing, and has mastered moving on his belly!! haha. it is quite funny. We had to start using his name as he wasnt responding to anything but cheeky little man!! haha. But now responds to Ciaran so we call him everything. Daddy has taken him shopping to Asda for the last hour. I am expecting them back any moment, and he is due a feed so not looking forward him bringing back a screaming baby! lol
Ciaran is great with strangers just not on his own he was left a lot a a little baby, not sure why he doesnt like it now. Been told to play peek a boo with him have been told this helps... try and show him that when mummy leaves she does come back ....
Ella doesn't seem interested in moving at all unless standing up, she tries to walk if you hold onto her arms she will take steps, i don't think she is going to be a crawler. think she just wants to get up and walk. bet she's walking by 12 months what a nighmare that will be. lol the dogs won't be safe, she make passing swipes at tails left too close to her now! The dogs are learning to tuck things in!
I'm looking forward to a weekend of wallpaper stripping, started it today, its going to be a pain all the paint umderneath is pealing off in sheets as well, I was hoping to just give the walls a coat of paint, but it looks like I am going to have to hang lining paper and then paint it.
I hate decorating I don't have the patience for it.
