Afternoon ladies,

Hope everyone is doing ok today and not been washed away by the horrendous rain we have had!!

I have spoken to my Dad again this afternoon about the pram and he has started the process of a chargeback to his credit card, thank god he paid on that so we are covered. We are cancelling the order and reporting them to Trading Standards. Apparently they were featured on Watchdog in 2006, evidently they have not improved!

WARNING TO ALL - DO NOT USE TWO LEFT FEET!

We are going to a stockist tomorrow who have advied that they can get it within 2 weeks at the most. I have also spoken to the UK and Ireland distributor and the pram system that I want they DO currently have in stock so there should be no issue.

Anyway whinge over, off to see my horse now to cheer me up and then home to put my feet up. Hopefully OH has put the chest of drawers together so I can put little mans clean clothes away!

Take care

Evening all,

Hope your all well.

Today was my OH's grandad's funeral so its been a long day.

My hospital bag is almost complete. Still need to get some hard boiled sweets and some energy drinks etc but i'll get that when i go shopping soon. Well this weekend is nursery painting weekend. I so want to just get it finished and get some space back in my house!

Anyway i'm off to read my new copy of Babies "r" us catalogue.

I'll pop on tomorrow, Sorry i've not replied to everything just a little tired.

Take Care

Suzie, as Em said your best off driniking the tea first and then upgrade to the tablets. They are really supposed to help with your help contractions when your in labour.

I've suddenly become a shopaholic - not for baby, for me! I'm buying last minute luxuries to have after the birth cause I know when he comes I won't want to spend money on me anymore it'll all be him, plus I'll be on the pathetic maternity pay from the government cause my boss won't do a package so I won't have spare cash like I do now. I'm buying luxury pedicure kits, facial cleansing kits, hair products, a new cross body leather hand bag cause when I'm out and about with harrison in the pram I want to be hands free and not worry about putting my bag on the pram, luxury conditioning lip glosses..the list is endless. I'm starting to feel like I've got a problem!! Eeek!

Ann/Katy I used Kiddicare to buy my pram set. It was the cheapest by far... £45 cheaper than anywhere else, they delivered dead quickly, like 3 days after I ordered. I'd highly recommend them.

Morning All,

How are you all doing? I'm not too bad can't really complain, had a good enough sleep only up once to the toilet, so that made a nice change. All's fine with baba plenty movement, well more like poking now as room is running out.

Katy- Glad your getting your pram sorted out, thats one stress you don't need!!

Babydust- Good for you buying treats for yourself, wish i had thought of that, but now the idea is there, bet i'll start buying stuff too!! Like you said money will be tight after baba arrives and i probably won't have the same time.

I'm am sick of paperwork at the minute, have been working hard on my SVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care, met with my accessor yesterday, and meeting with her again on Wednesday, so have loads of work to do before then. Also have our Rugby Club's registration day today, so will be bombarded with paper work today, i'm thier secretary!

Loks like it's going to rain as well, not good, when i will sitting at a table taking registration papers, hopefully won't come to much!!

Right best go and get myself ready and wake my son up (he plays rugby) i'm out of here in an hour, Take care ladies and have a good weekend whatever you are doing,

Keep safe, Syb & Baba xx

Morning All

I have got gorgeous pretty pink toe nails I went for a pedicure yesterday I was so fed up not being able to reach properly anymore!!!!

Syb, good to hear from you again!

Katy, glad you made the decision to go elsewhere - they should not be allowed to get away with this especially if they have been doing so for soooooo long!

Lou, you crack me up  Have you read shopaholic and baby?!!!! You should read that I think it would amuse you! I am with you on buying the things for yourself now that you probably won't do afterwards - why not treat yourself? Maybe this is your way of nesting??? Anyway, you defo needed the cross body handbag, I have got one already which is quite big!

Is everyone else having wierd baby dreams? Last night I dreamt Squidge just kinda popped out - which was great but I didn't know who to call first-Hubby or M+D so I ended up calling no-one and just getting myself in a panic over what to do! Very strange!

Am off to the gym this morning, then going round to see one of my best friends who has had a bit of a set back with her IVF programme - it is always a bit wierd and really hard for both of us with me being pregnant and her desperate for a baby but we are there for eachother, we have to be don't we....

Then tonight off to a "Back to school" birthday party! I am going as a pregnant teenager! Goodness knows how long I will stay awake am not at all good in the evenings....

Well hope you all enjoy your saturdays.... xxx

Evening all,

Paula, I hope the funeral wasn't too hard and that your OH is ok.

I haven't really thought about treating me, you have got me thinking now lol!! I may just have to go shopping and buy some pamperin g bits and pieces. I have actually got a voucher for a pedicure and lower leg massage which my friend got for birthday for "when I can't reach my feet" so I think I might book that.

Good news - dad and I went to a baby store today and they had just had the travel system that I wanted come into stock so I was able to bring it home Feeling much happier now and excited that I have finally got it.

I too have been sleeping really badly for the last few nights, waking up about 12.30 and not getting back to sleep until 3.30/4am, not good

Anyway off for some dinner now, have a good weekend, hope you don't get too wet!

Take care

Morning Ladies,

I can't believe i am just up! This is the longest lie i have had in ages, didnt go to sleep till gone midnight, and was up twice to the toilet, but feel really good this morning.

Busy day yesterday, had our registration day at Rugby, so need to deal with that paperwork today, also went to see my mum for a couple hours, she had bought blue baby grows on friday, so we now have blue and pink, like she said whichever it is it can wear the other at night! Was laughing at her, everyone really wants this baba to be a girl as i have two boys, don't get me wrong it would be nice, but to be really honest i don't mind either way, i am just glad at my last scan baba is growing fine and is bang on the line, all appears healthy. My only concearn is the birth now, i just hope everything goes fine and i can cope with it again, been 13yrs since i delivered! Baba is certainly moving down was 4/5th's last week and the pressure on my uterus is getting stronger with every hicks i get, so thats good.

Saw my sister in laws baby yesterday he is so gorgeous and so BIG!! Me and OH were just saying can't wait for ours to come now, and it really won't be that long now! Roughly 7 wks, but going by my last 2 i went early so you just never know. I am going to get my hospital bag ready today- i know can't believe i haven't done it yet. That will be everything ready once i have done that. I think thats the worst thing for me not knowing when baby will arrive, i so like to be organised but lets face it baby can come anytime any place, i would hate to be out shopping and for my waters to break, i am starting to think a bit more about that.

Think ill do some baking today, made some cakes the other day and they have all been eaten so need to make some more! Get our roast dinner on as well for this evening, so looks like i'll be in the kitchen for most of the day!!

Catch up tommorrow,

Syb & Baba xx

Afternoon all,

Just a little post cos i'm tired... We're getting the top coat on some of the nursery today .

Is anybody else feeling tired at the minute no matter how much sleep they get? I'm tired already today and didnt get up till 10 and havent done much either today.

Well the hospital bag is all packed now so its just a case of waiting. Cant believe its only 6 weeks tomorrow if she arrives on time  Not that i'm getting impatient now!

Anyway off to get some lunch.

Take Care

Hiya Everyone,

Paula - I am soo tired at the moment! I was up at 7am to give Brooke her breakfast and went back to my bed while OH watched her and got back up at 11 and am soo tired again.

Emma - glad the parent craft and hossie tour went well x

Well today am just chilling as i am soo tired, Brooke out playing with her friends, and OH and Father is doing the nursery am soo excited now as wallpaper is up and paint is on, went for a lemon colour as the bumper set i finally agreed on is lemon and lilac with little bunny rabbit on it, so am going for kinda farm stick arounds with little rabbits and chicks etc... sooo cute!!! I never did a nursery for Brooke as i was living with parents at the time and she shared a room with us till we got our house, so am soo excited, and flooring goes down tomorow then skirting.

Apart from feeling tired and feeling all am doing is sleeping at the moment me and baby is OK, still loads of movements!

Did anyone watch the X factor lastnight? I dont think i have ever cried so much at the end with the guy singing at the end and his story was sooooo sad!!

Anyways... i better go, as you all can tell am bored!!

Take care Ladies x

Nicole
