Ar Kirsty - £2.50?  Do you have to buy your wine out of that too!!

Claire D - that's our plan, I have told OH that I don't want any jobs needing to be done once I go off on leave.  Can't be doing with being in the middle of any DIYing.  Especially if rich's tiling the connie or painting somewhere - he does tend to get a bit stressed out when he's doing these things and I like to be as far away as poss!  xxxxx

Morning all just popping on for a quick nosey before getting on with the tidying. Got baby brain this morning so will try and remember what people have said lol Was up early as woke up wondering of OH had brought the washing in last night. It was bothering me so much i got up at 5.30 and it was still out so went out in my flip flops vest & knickers to bring it in-i bet your all glad you dont live next door to me!

Kirtsy is is just chucking it down here too. You cant win with bump size people say your too big or your too small. I just try to be healthy and the bump is what ever size it ends up. But i think its very true the more children you have even after a big gap the sooner you show and i have been in materntity pants from about 12 weeks which was a bit depressing but even now anything too tight makes me feel sick. I dont need to buy anymore maternity bits as i bought flat shoes, boots and a maternity coat very cheap early on and will just sell them on ebay after christmas i hope.

Laura i sympathise with all the work OH gets moaned at everyday and i only want him to finish one room.

Tara i can understand your decision about the section its the same decision i made on my first, but make sure you ask for a scan the week before as babies can move very late. Manually turning a baby is not for the faint hearted its pretty unpleasant and i found it distressing years ago and insisted they stop part way through. I would consider having a natural birth on a breech now but only because i have already had 2 vaginal deliveries and the old lady garden is tried and tested.

Claire D i cant beleive you and Tara have dates already! I'll still be sat her come the end of November lol

Extract on manually turning a baby

An external cephalic version, or manually turning the baby from outside the mother's abdomen, may be attempted to turn a breech to head first. Success varies from 50 to 80 percent (Cunningham). It does carry a small risk (less than one percent) of serious cord entanglement or damage to the placenta, so external cephalic version is nearly always attempted in a hospital with emergency cesarean facilities ready. The mother may be given an intravenous line, and possibly drugs to keep the uterus relaxed. The baby's heart beat will be monitored throughout the process, and for an hour or so following.

Moving the baby around through the abdomen has been described as moderately to quite uncomfortable by women who have experienced an external version. Pain medications, if given at all, are sometimes limited so that the mother's level of discomfort can guide the physician and/or nurse-midwife in providing the right amount of pressure. When external cephalic version is successful, almost all babies will remain head first until birth.

and have you been good kirsty for your 2.50?

Laura its not raining here!

Morning Debbie, technically I dont have my date yet, have to see them in 6 weeks and check the doctors rotas lol! those dates are just 2 weeks before my due date!

oops been here an hour and half and done no work yet!

ouch manually turning sounds painful, it hurt me yesterday just when she was feeling to see where mine was lying, although I have a ''irritable womb'' which contracts when touched so thats probably why!

A couple of my friends have had their baby attempted to be turned manually - it's not worked and been very painful for them, they both said they wouldn't have it done again.  Haven't seen the stats on how sucessful these turns are?

Claire D - from the weather this morn looked like it was raining everywhere - you lucky thing!!!

Yeah i have been good this week Claire, ive worked and cooked and cleaned all week!!!!! AND I WON MY POOL GAME LAST NIGHT!!!!!! so i think i should be allowed a little more dont you at least £2.75

Do you think if i rob the shoes i will get away with it as im pregnant??? it will save my having to beg OH for some more money LOL

(I really hope other people that read this read the full story LOL)

Claire D-at least your in no danger of running late If i'm in work proper rather than working from home i dont log on as i would no way doing anything lol I'm getting worse as i get bigger too i finding the urge to stay home hard to resist. My tummy isnt as sensitive as yours but i'm super protective over the baby and i dont even like the MW being too rough when she feels my stomache.

Laura when ever i hear of people going to have their babies turned always reminds me of all creatures great and small lol

Kirsty you lucky thing i never win anything. Probably best not to nick the shoes as you couldnt run away very fast lol.
