Hey everyone!!!

Been to Mums and toddlers this mornin, then round to friends for coffee this afternoon. You lot have chatted like mad today - the one mornin I can't get on -typical! I won't take it personally though! Lol!!!

Bit of a stupid question, but is everyone findin it so much more difficult to change nappies now LO's are so active? When I changed H after his bath, and this afternoon, it took me ages to get a clean one on! He is wrigglin like mad! As I said earlier, I feel like I have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson!!!

We had a better night with H last night, we decided to leave the night light off, and also had taken H to doc cos of his chesty cough and the Doc advised me to put a blanket under his mattress to raise it a bit - it worked - well, it seemed to - he slept 7 til 5.30, without waking up! Yay!!!!

Right girlies - H is in bed so now I can concentrate on you lot! Lol! Have just scrolled back to the beginnin of the posts from today and written everythin down as there were so many posts! Apologies in advance if I miss anyone out!

Lisa - Thanks for the info about the elf suits! I haven't bought one yet, but was goin to get one on Friday - but will def go Sainsburys now! As you said - £6 is still £6 - that's a lot of money! Oh, when you were replyin to Amie, I just wondered if you could tell me what a "Bidgie" is? Lol!!!! You mentioned about class sizes - 31 is quite big isn't it? When I was a classroom asst  a few years ago, I think the biggest was about 28 - if I get this job, the year 5 class I will be workin with only has 9 (Yes 9!!!!) children in it - somethin to do with it bein private! It seems so wrong that state schools have to put up with such ridiculous class sizes, and yet private schools have so many less - I don't know if that's always the case??? x x x

Del - Happy Birthday to Franco!!!!   Hope he liked his cake!!!  x x x

Annie - Are you dressed yet? Lol!!!! H had beans on toast for lunch yesterday - he seemed to enjoy it! How you feelin now??? Hope you are takin it easy! How was your pasty? Lol!!! x x x

Amie - How's the new buggy?? No news on the job yet, but I will post as soon as I get the phone call! Pooey nappies - H had quite a few of those "gooey" ones when he first started teethin!!!!! x x x

Mo - Go archie! Well one for sleepin through! Do you think he will do it again tonight or was it just cos he was so tired? Sounds like Archie will have his choice of little girlfriends then! Lol! x x x

Has anyone heard from Lynne??

Hello to Aunty Carol, Anne Marie, and anyone I have missed!

Pizza ready now - will be back on later on,

Love to you all,

Sarah x x x

PS - Has anyone started christmas shopping yet? Please say no - it's just that my mother in law went and did some this mornin!!!!???????!!!!!!

PPS - SORRY FOR THE HUGE POST GIRLIES!!!!! x x x

Hello

Thank you all for sharing your boyfriend/partner/husband stories. Especially Lisa xx        Funny how you always think you`re the only one to have these problems till someone else shares their story. Its made me realise how lucky i am in certain ways. I do want comittment from OH but i guess its not the most important thing in life.lol It would just make a few of my own insecurities easier (if that makes sense). Thanks again Lisa for sharing some of your story, i hope you find a new home soon and i do understand the spiritual thing with houses too. xx

Annie, i didnt know you and Mike had been together so long. If OH ever proposes to me (which i doubt) i dont think it will be romantic or even a proposal..lol.. more like buy a ring and put it on.lol xxx

Hi Sarah.. you`ve had a busy day. Archie had a really grumpy afternoon, teething again and didnt have a dirty nappy till after tea (not like him at all, he usually has 2 a day.lol) But he went straight to sleep at 7.30 so we`ll see what happens tonight. Even if he does wake its usually only once or twice for his dummy. xx

Amie, how are you feeling tonight? xx

Caz, hello. love the pic! lol.. we used to have a Donkey called jenny(of course) to keep the horses company.lol. Our supermarket here is the co-op, it has a section for polish people (most of the staff are polish and dont speak english). It gets me mad cause, they have a fully stocked polish food section but they`ve ran out of baby formula twice!!! Bloody useless!!

Ok, did i miss anyone?? lol

xxxx

Sarah - when i was at school we had 8 to a class and there were two classes to each year group. That was a private school but no way am i a snob lol everyone laughs when i say i went to private school.

Mo - its crazy the bleeping supermarkets having the foreign sections. I get really mad. When ive been on duty and we stopped some of them they are talking until you explain whats gonna happen then suddenly they No understand english........... drive me mad!!

Caz - Sorry hun! I dodn't mean anything by it! Sorry! I knew someone would come on and say they went to a private school - it was just a general observation hun - honestly! Sorry! x xx

im not offended at all infact i only read it as a general view on private being smaller classes. i never read it as anything  else. Even though i went to private to be honest i dont endorse them. If a child is bright they will do well wherever they are not necessarily at private. My bro went to same school and he is a dossing chav with 2 kids who thinks the world owes him a living!

I got a shock when i left and went to mainstream for the last two years as it was too far to travel to school and we had 30 in a class lol. i wondered what had hit me.

Girls - Sorry - I appear to have had Mummy brain tonight - in my massive post, I got a bit confused!

I meant:

AMIE - Did you get dressed....etc

and ANNIE - How is the new buggy!.....

Sorry girlies!!! D'oh!!!

Show/hide user stats

lol...

sarah yes it was big classes but as they are not KS1 then there is no law against how many are in a class.. if it was KS1 no more than 30 are allowed... the school they go to dont really care for children who need extra help.. they push the children too much... infact the offstead report said they are working a year and half ahead of themselves or something.... which I think is really wrong!!! Alfie does struggle there but he has been diagnosed since being there with dyslexia... I have managed to speak to my dr who is lovely, and she has referred him to OT or Oh whatever it is to be assesed for dysphraxia or however it is spelt.... I think private classes are smaller and thats what parents  pay for really.... I think there can be a stigma attached to it... mainly when lower clases get scholarships and all that, but I dont think there is anything wrong with it... I have a friend who went to private school and she is one of the most down to earth peeps I have meet... its just the odd few that spoil it... caz glad to hear you are not one of them....lol....

Hi Mo and everyone sorry for me going into detail today I really didnt mean to... i forgot where I was and just got lost in typing.... its how I let things out and relive myself of stress at times... i sit with word open and just type everything that comes into my brain and talk about ti to myself.. like diary form I suppose.... I just type and type and type till there is nothing else left to type.... I do laugh when I read it back as I sometimes repeat myself or go off into another direction or something else... but then I feel better about it afterwards....  I used to write it on paper, but forgot the safe place where I had put them.. I nearly died when we were sorting stuff out and kev came across some bits... I had to quickly get them and finish the sorting myself...  but anyways I am really sorry about it and I will make sure it dont happen again... if I do seem to be going in that direction just give me a nudge....

Yes amie I def need to move house....lol...  are you ok... u not been on since earlier... a bit worried as u were having a few pains... hope its just cause you are resting x x x x x

gosh what else was said I cant remember... I am doing a sarah now....lol.. maybe I should have written everything down its too late at night to be thinking!!!
