hey natty, you can take paracetamol when pregnant but thats about it! And I think you are only supposed to have 500mg not the usual 2 X 500mg tablets?

You should go to the doctors as they will be able to give you something im sure

hiya stephanie,  is this ur 1st??  with my 1st i hardly showed until i was 7 months preg!!  then it was like some one had inflated a balloon!! lol.........

dont worry about it, u could well be carrying baby all in ur back, which means u will show much later on like i did with my 1st.  make the most of it at least ur clothes still fit!! lol......

hi everyone, just woken up from an overtime night shift.....need the money to buy all these expensive baby things!

thought I'd let you all know of a great plan mothercare do. basically its called a nursery plan and you pick all the big baby things you want (I ordered a cot, pram, baby monitor and steriliser kit) pay 10% of the price and spread the cost of the rest over upto 6 months, during that time you can change your mind on which items you want and god forbid anything happens they'll give you a full refund! no APR and free delivery once everything is paid.  I wanted to order stuff but thought it was too early to have it in the house so I've got my bits coming on the 1st dec (Merry xmas to me!!) oh and I can add other bits onto the plan as and when!

had my scan all is really good and I was strong, and didin't find out the sex. if I'd been on my own I'd have broken but the hubbie was firm thank god.  has anyone else had trouble sleeping? I keep getting restless and waking in the middle of the night and be getting loads of stretching pains in the lower stomach, I know its the ligaments but it really hurts!

thanks everyone im excited now and finaly been shopping for clothes me and my step mom went a bit mad well she did lol.

Emma even though she didnt move for first 20 minutes when she finaly did they got all the measurements they needed nothing to worry about shes growing well and was no cause for concern so im happy with that as its the main thing. not due to see my midwife for another 4 weeks so not sure what to do now i feel like im in limbo again lol

hope everyone had a nice bank holiday i went to a kids party for my cousins 3 yeard old her mom has 9 grandkids it was hectic but fun too

kelly that plan sounds great i may have to check it out and yes im having sleepless nights but still cant manage to have a lie in at the weekends ?

steh - hello. not sure we have met. im nat 26 22wks tomorrow. due new years eve and have 1 dd 2 yrs old. i too am a late shower. just starting to get a bump (dh noticed it for the first time last night whilst.....um.......doing it!! he said it was odd!) baby is lying across me and behind the placenta apparently so that hides it more apparently. but will prob be the size of a house in a few months!!! so dont worry too much xxx

my little boy is kicking me awake in the night! so weird! still not strong enough for my bf to feel it!

plus, ive never had a migrane before but ive had two since being pregnant and theyre seriously painful!! not really sure why im getting these but my mum (who doesnt know im having a boy) said it means im having a boy!! haha.. i did the ' oooo really?!?!?! ' totally believeable! anyone else suffering?

all my pregnant friends are due any minute so i do feel like theres ages to go for me..

 i had my scan last friday and everything went well. i didnt find out the sex and to be honest not sure if i could have even if i wanted to

little squidge was lying on its front with arms and legs crossed underneath. the sonographer tried to get the little monkey to move so i could have more pics but it is like its mum and said sod off its too early lol

for the 1st time in 26 years i cant sleep on my belly!! it is so weird! i have been having some stronger movements and the other night my uterus kept going hard everytime i lied on belly!!  so i got no sleep. i have now used a pillow my friend gave me that looks like a wedge to put under belly and it has helped a little bit

bump is growing nicely now thank god

do any of you remember Chantelle? she text me the other day, also sent me a photo of a bump??

hi all.

well just got back from my scan and all went well. the monkey was playing ball more this time and the sonographer saw everything she needed. also got a quick peek at the "bits" and although not 100% sure looks like im having..................A GIRL!!!! i am so chuffed!! wasnt bothered really what i have but a girl is cool. thats what i thought it was.

looks like im a little big for my dates too. 22wks today but measuring 23+2. yikes!!! hope the growth dosn't continue like this or i will be having a rather large baby!!

has anyone notice how there bump has just grown massive?  mine seems to be really noticable since the weekend! its fab.

ok better go to work. am floating on air! xxx 

i was told at my scan that all babies are the same size at 20 weeks it is just the uterus that is bigger

also the build of a person determines what size the bump is?

well im 18 weeks today.  little one has been moving about loads, more so at night so i think its going to be like its dad a night owl!!! lol..........

congratulations natty, im glad ur scan went much better today for you, and another girl on the list lovely!! so have they moved ur due date??

well on saturday my friend had her little boy!!  she wasnt due til 7th september but she had to go into be monitored on sat morning and coz his heart beat kept dropping they decised to do an emergancy cercasean, good job they did as he had the cord round his neck 6 times!!!  but both are doing really well, and i had my cuddles with him on monday evening at the hospital.  he was 5lb 10oz, and is called Zak George. xx

now it feels like my due date is years away!!  it didnt before, strainge!!

no my dates are the same. she said although measuring bigger then average it is still within normal limits so my due date will stay. and hopefully no more need for any scans. bit sad as have had loads and willmiss them but happy baby is good.

glad to hear your mate is well. a shame she had to have a ecs but its good baby is well. and dont you just love snuggling newborns. xxx

Hi all, I know what everyone means about their bumps just gettin bigger almost overnight, people who havent seen me for a week are noticing its got bigger in that time!! and me n hubby hav bin takin a few pics of my evergrowing bump to compare diff weeks!! As for baby she won't stop moving about atm, nice to know shes ok in there though!! xx

Well I am 20 wks and four days now, getting lots of movements and strange feelings, I too are having problems sleeping, restless and waking in the middle of the night, and then because I have woken I need the loo. Have got one of those Dream Genii pregnancy support pillow, I won it on eBay when I was 12 wks prg for £14 as they are over £40 New, it was working quite well until the last two weeks but as my bump has suddenly appeared, I am having difficulty finding the right comfort position even on the left I get stiff after a while, then I end up falling asleep in me arm chair thru me evening TV programs and wake with a stiff neck it’s so annoying, I ended up crying last night as we were settling to bed due to it all just getting to me, my hubby look so concerned as he was trying to comfort me do bless him. Simplify with you Kelly.

 
Yesterday my belly was well uncomfortable too, it felt tight and heavy all in one, think it must be me ligaments stretching looking forward to my scan Monday, think baby is laying more at the back of me as you said Emma.

 
Natty I too suffer from Headaches, I had them quite a bit early on in my pregnancy but after week 16 they have died down, I mention it to my Midwife as I was having them for up to three days in a row. She said it’s to do with the extra blood flow going around your body and it should pass, she did do a blood test and checked my blood pressure and everything was fine, she did suggest the headache rub or the sticky stuff that you can put on your forehead. I have tried both and they both work well, have stuck to the Headsoote rub that I got from me body shop as last longer, I also listen to relaxing soothing music in the dark and that helps too.

 
Steph welcome and crongats I am due on the 12th Jan so we are quite close to each other, I too did not start to show until the last week and a bit and it has suddenly got bigger, and it does depend on your body shape too. I am was in a size 24 dress and had a bit of a flabby belly before I got prg, so it was difficult to tell at start lol. I am now a size 20 and everyone is telling me I am now looking pregnant.

Been doing a bit of baby shopping this week got a 15 mix of cot/mosses/pram sheets and blanket for £22 and a few baby sleeping grows for £15, plus a lovely Winnie the pooh bouncer chair for a fiver, so reckoned I got a bargain there. Going to pick them up today and I have ordered me nursery /cot bedding set from Mothercare as it’s 10% off until this Sunday, have made sure it goes to me mum’s house thou as don’t want to ginks things just yet, but it’s so exciting thou.
