Morning All

I have a doppler and it takes me a while to find baby bean's heartbeat as he/she is bouncing all over the place, i found it last week and it was 160bpm, just found it now at 150bpm.

Im so bored, but too lazy to do anything! Going to London on Sunday to Wembley to see SoccerAid, taking my little brother, I trying to beat the urge of going shopping for baby things while we're down there!

Hope everyone is ok?! x

Clare - the ring test (as I understand it) is when a ring (i think it has to be yours, but I cant remember wearing rings when it was done on me, so maybe that bit isnt true) anyway, its put on a piece of string & the person holds it very very still over your tummy now if it goes in circles its meant to be one sex &  if it goes back & forth or side to side in a straight line it means the other sex - but I cant remember which was around it is so to be honest I bet you think Im a total waste of time dont you? LOL - Im going to google it now & see what I can find .... I'll be back!

little miss - dont worry every1 i have asked can never remember how it is meant to go lol. I didnt even think of google to check it, i just googled the prenatal baby heartbeat monitors but think i mite just wait and get 1 at the weekend because if not it wont be here until mon/tues plus they aint much cheaper on the net once u add on postage.

Sara - im def going to get 1 this weekend as my midwife could not find babys heartbeat when we wnt last time. How far on r u ? Do u need gel on ur bump 1st ? Sorry i know im being a pest withall these questions. x x

Okay Ive done a bit of searching & there are two ways of doing it ... ready

1st way - put your wedding ring/enagement ring on a piece of string, lay flat & get someone with a very steady hand to hold the string & ring over your tummy, it should be as still as possible - it will then apparently move in circles (for a GIRL) & side to side or back & forth (for a BOY) get someone who you can trust not to move it themselves to do this.  Apparently it will also read all of your children - including miscarriages & abortions.

2nd way - put a needle on a piece of thread/string & dangle it over your own wrist - the motions are the same - circle for a girl, side to side for a boy & again it will include miscarriages & abortions!

Im gonna try it tonight but I definitely think it worked from previous experience! Let me know how you get on! x

Yeah you do need gel, im hiring mine from http://www.dopplerhire.co.uk/ for £9.99 per month and you get a small bottle of gel with it.

Im 15 weeks and this is my first, first of all i could only find my HB then when you find baby you will know, its really fast!
