I didn't realise there was a July Mummies club! I have joined - yay! Hope everyone getting on OK? Finally got my little tinker off to sleep after a 3 hour feeding session this morning. So catching up on posts then will have a lie down myself (guarenteed Connor will wake up at that moment). Anyone else got a slow feeding baby? Was trying to follow the Contented littlebaby guide to sleep to make Connor sleep for longer in the night (currently wakes every hour) but impossible as he takes so long to feed!!! Hope to her how everyone else is doing. Sarah & connor xx

YAY - WELCOME...there are quite a few of us, but I think peeps were waiting for all babies to be here, regardless lof birthday!! RE : CLB..have no idea how to advise you...we try to feed abi when she needs it, but monitor her intake against what we know she needs, which is 160ml / kg / 24hours, which is actually the formula the hospitals go by...multiply the weight of your child, (so as an example they weigh 3Kg), by 160 - that will give you the minimum daily feed needed (480ml in this case), then divide that by the number of feeds in a 24 hour period - so if fed 6 hourly, then a minimum feed of 80ml is needed. Hope that helps Amanda & Abi xx

Hi July mummies I am from the Due June 08 forum but actually turned out to be a July mum after being 2 weeks late, 40 hours in labour followed by a C-section ( this little monster fancied being an August baby I think). Anyway got a lovely little boy Logan, who is currently going through the 3 week growth spurt and is constantly feeding ( poor nipples ), although Sarah i am generally very lucky as he is quite quick at feeding. Hope you all had reasonable births and are enjoying your little bundles of fun. Vicky and Logan

hi my baby was born on 18 july so is just over 4 weeks old, i am breast feeding and Oliver has just started to go 2 hours between feeds in the day he feeds for an hour though which is a pain, how are the rest of you finding it? by t time i am sure i have not much left as he gets angry and shakes his head while latched on - not good! he does do a 4 or 5 hour stretch at night though but then returns to 2 hours i am determined to carry on though

Hey everyone, glad to have joined the July mummies club. Baby girl (Sharanya) born on 30th July but due on August. Hope everyone is finding everyday more interesting.... Feeding on demand is always good, as they get what they need when they need it. The rest of the time its been sleep. Now that she is 8 weeks old, has started to spend more time interacting with us. I'm also delaying the jabs a bit longer as I feel she is too young to be injected (anyone else feel the same ? ) That is if the baby isn't going to risky places.... Talk soon Sharmila & Anya
