hi there, i am 12 weeks pregnant and like many of you have been really ill, i am now on avomine tablets that have helped greatly. been on these since i was about 8 weeks pregant then stopped them and was really ill again. was in hospital for just under a week. i couldnt keep anything down, not even fr 5 minutes then the only thing i could drink was lucozade and other fizzy drinks when i spoke to my midwife she said as long as i was drinking something then it was better then nothing even if they were fizzy drinks .then i found milk helped me aswell. if you really are suffering then go to your GP, the tablets im on are perfectly safe and they are a life saver. some days i just cried and couldnt cpe with being sick any longer. my partner tried to help and bless him was great. in the end i took 2 weeks off work and just stayed at home and rested. and it seemed to do the world of good. am still feeling sick but after my tablet works i am fine. everybody keep smiling and im sure we will all be fine

Robyn, I know how you feel - I have been exactly the same as you although my Doctor would not give me anything. I am 12 weeks too and thought that the sickness, no energy, spots and genertal feeling of being 90 years old would have subsided by now but its has'nt.
I did get some travel sickness arm bands from Boots which have seemed to help me sleep better and eased the sickness slightly.

Hello, first timer here. Anyway i have just found out i am pregnant with my second child. Kinda planned, but unexpected think we talked about last month then found out i was pregnant this month. Anyway just wanted to say that i can relate to the continuous morning, noon and night sickness i started throwing up from about 7 weeks right up to the morning i went into labour. I was hospitalised twice. At one point i walked out of work and told my boss that i was not sure when i would be back as i felt emotionally and physically drained. This time round i am a bit apprehensive, i am only about 4/5 weeks and feeling nautious every so often but no throwing up. I am scared to eat though cause the thought of it just makes me feel ill.

Hi Laura - I know exactly how you feel.  I am almost 34 weeks myself and the sickness hasn't stopped.  I am also now anaemic and have to increase my iron tablets.  I also suffer from heartburn and at the minute I think I am coming down with a summer cold.

I also have a thrush infection under my left breast.

I am due to stop working full-time next week and hopefully I will feel a bit better then.

Do you feel breathless at all and have you been taking anything for the sickness.  I was given anti-sickness tablets which didn't seem to help at all.  Looks like its going to last all the way through for the next five weeks.

Let me know how you are getting on.

Love Michaela

Hi, Holly here I am 15 weeks pregnant with my second child.  I feel awful, I am constantly feeling and being sick, morning, noon or night.  Suffering from headaches and general feeling miserable.  I would just like to feel better and enjoy my pregnancy.  It probably doesn't help that I am rather anxious as my first child was born prematurely, spent 10 weeks in SCBU and has cerebral palsy (he can't sit, stand or walk and is totally dependant on me).  But he is wonderful and I wouldn't be without him.  Sorry to go on I just feel down in the dumps which isn't like me.

Oh god i can remember this.

I had severe sickness till about 30 weeks with my little boy and i couldn't keep a thing down, not even a mouthful of water. I was in and out of hospital for most of my pregnancy being put on drips and i lost a stone. Thankfully baby was fine and he was 6 1/2 lbs. Just found out i am pregnant again...hope i dont  get it with my second.

hi i am 23 weeks pregnant and i am still feeling and being sick have done since i was a few weeks pregnant its every day and i have lost over 1 and a half stone since ive been pregnant i went to doctors other day as the sickness was getting too much for me and was getting me really down an he gave me some sickness tablets to help i take two a day and they really help so if any one is still feeling sick after your 1st few month i would advice you to go and speak to your gp about the sickness tablets as they make ypu feel much better and they also give you a bit more energy.  teresa x
I was on cyclizine and that did diddly squat so even though it helps most people don't pin your hopes on it!

hi im 10 weeks pregnant with my 4th child never had any problems with other kids have been hospitalized 2 times with this 1.feel totally depresssed and sick am allergic 2 cyclizine am on metoclopramide tablets but am still sick.had 4++++kettones 3+++blood 2++protein in my urine was in hospital for 5 days constantly on drip does it ever end am so low at minute HELP

Awwwi feel for you all as im the same, im now on week 22 and it is still here i have lost 2.5 stone i feel sick 24-7 i now eat while i feel sick as i need to eat for the baby. If im not sick every day i will still feel it and have no energy. I dont have any tips as i have tried everything the only thing i know is that you need to eat to keep strong for you and babs, which is what i do and it seems to help me stay out of hospital. If your not being sick every day yr find it hard for gps to give you anything as mine make me deal with it which annoys me.

Lolly pops are good to suck on when you cant drink, travel sick bands and finding a food you can hold down which yr all know.

I hope yr all feeling better x
