i know that you do get growing pains in your pelvis area.....however is it normal to be in pain where you struggle to move?

How far on are you? Could be early signs of spd. It does not cause any harm to the baby but can be quite painful for you, its where the pelvis over relaxes and the ligaments soften too much. I suffered with it in my last pregnancy, it was a bit of a pain but we got there in the end. Or like Tara said, it could just be wind. Best to get it checked out though x.

There is a thread on here calles SPD, if you have any questions about it you can always pop on there, there is a few of us that have either suffered or are suffering with it and we would be happy to help with any questions that you might have.

It does sound like spd, thats exactly how mine started. Your  doctor should be able to diagnose it if it is, then they will refer you to a physio. It helps if you keep your knees together when getting in and out of the bath, bed the car etc. And dont stand for long periods! Have plenty of rests. Like I said, if you have any questions or just want a moan, pop on the spd thread. Hope this helps a little x
